Alot of people believe this, but infact the router for me personaly makes my results faster. As long as its a decent router, and properly configured it wont effect your speeds

on a 1 mb connection, with over 265 ping, that may be about right. Still may want to do a tracert to testmy.net. ( start > run> cmd > tracert testmy.net )

Usualy on a 1mbps sonnection the contiunous speed is about 121 kbs. "418kbs download " Would be considered a 3.5 mbps conection.. I dont see how you would be getting that kind of speed.

40 GB = light storage. 80 GB = intermediate storage. And compaq / hp is the same company..same comps . As i stated , java games and things of that sort (packman, kid games, etc) either way, sempetron 3200 =~= celeron 2.0 GHz (little less) and i played doom 3, not well but i played it along with far cry and counterstrike w/all mods. ( didnt say you didnt need to upgrade a few things first, so as i stated java and kid games) Please, dont quote me trying to prove my suggestions / statements incorrect unless you know completely what it is that talking about.

# 1 is fine if your listening to music [and light storage] and browsing the internet with occasional java games and whatnot. But because of the 256 mb ram, you will not be able to multitask too easily. # 2 If your using it for Music playing & [ intermediate] storage with internet browsing and light gaming. # 3 good for [almost] anything you want to do, but will cost you the prettiest penny.

Lucky bastard we havnt had a good rain here ( aside from the 4 hurricanes last year) in about that long. I cant remember the last time we had a "storm" hell. 1 month in florida a year its supposed to be "cold" For the past 2 or 3 years the coldest weve seen is 50ish. WIth wind chill mabey 40ish. I remember when i moved here 6 -8 years ago, it used to get COLD. I mean frozen strawberry cold. This year im lucky to see frost on my winsheild Its so weird....
