The ultimate title is a costum rank. Pimpsters are penultimate...
-
Nothing really abnormal, but there are a number of ping spikes on that tracert, which means your connection isn't that stable. Good luck...
-
are these settings right?? cause there pretty kool
RTB replied to 2smart4u's topic in HughesNet (DIRECWAY)
That doesn't mean it works on anyone, and AFAIK a higher RWIN is good for satellite since the upload sucks so bad. -
Direcway Highspeed? Mine doesn't seem like it.
RTB replied to mospeed's topic in HughesNet (DIRECWAY)
Wow, DirecWay definatly sucks for some people. DirecWay morons. -
When testing out if it's packet loss I think that 4 pings is not enough. Either specify a much larger amount of pings (like 25 - 50), or set it up to go on forever. That way you can see packetloss much better.

Ya, should install it too... but I do know that you can get better download speeds when you download a popular torrent, as opposed to downloading it from just one person. That's my only gripe with DC++, speeds just can't be that high. Unless you find someone on a T3 line.

You could have put those three posts in one, by editing the first one tho. The title king is given at 30 posts, you'll get a new one at 50. AFAIK the BIOS is rarely updated, althought my only proof is that the motherboard of two computer here only had one small update a few days after the release of the motherboard.

With pleasure. What's your preferred way of leaving this world? Cobra: Certainly, but at least the flaming has stopped. I suppose this one has to be locked at the slightest sight of fire.

That one is awfully high, but I'm not sure if it is your ISP's fault, or just a failing node on your route. In the second case there is nothing you can do about it.
-
Exactly, try the big and popular torrents like doom3 or hl2. You don't have to finish them, but they can be used to see if you are capable of getting more than 10 KB/s with BT. There are ISPs that block the standard ports of BT, or limit them to 1 - 10 KB/s. Change the ports used for BT in the program itself (standard client sucks btw, BitComet or BitTornado are good options, but there are many more) and forward those.

It's for 400+ posts. Almost got that rank too, but I was lucky enough for a costum rank

He's working full-time now... on this website.

I think we went really off-topic this time. gingangguly, you need to grow up.Even if I'm not the appropriate person to say it (someone 20+ would be better), that just has to be said to you. I'm also locking this thread, if you disagree on my decision, let me know via PM.

Must be your spelling.

Well yes, because it allows people to experience the horrors of war without the chance of dying for real. And the ability to play any scenario you want is cool

Maybe I should edit it again, but that would be an evil idea.

Mr. Hahn: I still see the typo .s1: Typo's own don't you think? Btw, what is your advertised speed?
-
Sorry, that was a typo. Meant 10,000 years.

It's an online MMORPG, and he has already made a thread about that game. I would prefer if you would use that thread to discuss Runescape. I'll move any other posts on that game to that topic from this moment and on.

I would prefer it if you would go through the history books and list all the wars that have ravaged the lands in those 5000 years. I think there should be over 1000 entries in your list. If anything, the world has had to experience more larger wars in the past 5000 years, than in the 5 billion years before that. Modern man is if I remember correcty about 1000 years old, so half of that time was spent in a world filled with war. What difference is there between a 'world' war and a 'normal' war? There have been quite a few wars in the world for the past 100 years. I don't feel a need to list them, because it can easily be looked up in a history book. Those protesters against the Iraq war were there, because of the pointlessness of that particular war. Another reason could've been Bush, but I don't know that for sure. Violence isn't something that should exist in a children's world, because that world needs to be care-free, harmless, so a child can grow up, and learn what it is. Then it may decide whether to start causing it him/herself or not. Adults... they own the world, they may do with it as they wish. Can't blame them for trying to do what is in their nature to do, it's just bad for the world and them, that's all. We love violence. It's in our nature. I suppose it's your age, but you don't seem willing to accept other opinions, nor adapt yours when it has been proven false. I'm only 18, but I know a great deal about the world, and to be honest, you seem to miss some knowledge on how humans think. You'll learn tho, that's another thing we have been born to do. Edit: Damn you Mr. Hahn. Outposted me AGAIN!!!
