  1. Warning: Boredom made me create this thread, not my own will. As the thread title says show off your desktop, mine's still a work in progress tho. Couple of programs missing and I'm tempted to install WindowBlinds for some more eye candy. Selfmade background
  2. You earn that much from testmy.net alone? Wow. Can't wait to beat your upload speed after I've been upgraded...within a month or so,

I don't believe that the aux sensor is for the videocard. And 3DMark05 has been uninstalled anyway Damn, those demos are really framerate-killers.

DNA drivers are unofficial drivers, but work better than the normal ones. Or at least they should. Reinstalling those drivers anyway.

Not yet, and I'm trying to keep this computer somewhat clean, so as little uninstalls as possible. One thing I remember: when installing the DNA driver I was given a choice between 'fps rates': normal, high, ultra, insane, HL2 (lol.) I chose ultra, I suppose that was overdoing it.

Radeon 9600 Pro with fan still running. It's one of those small fans though, tiny compared to the others in this case (5 total... lol.) Drivers: DNA 4.12b

*revives thread* I think I got a problem and my guess is that it's the videocard. Installed newest DNA drivers, and went from 1x AGP (standard, what the hell?) to 4x. Twice a lock-up at 3dmark05. Installed AIDA32 to see if the temperature might be the problem, this is what I get: Motherboard 28
  8. Nah, that's just my pet eating rats and other vermin. Don't know what he likes about them, they seem too small to satisfy one's hunger to me.
  9. Don't listen to what he's saying, I forgot to give him his daily pills. Without them, he goes even more crazy than normal. Sorry for the inconvenience.
  10. *kills Mr. Hahn then scrapes his skin off his flesh with his own teeth* I'm bored. Two more days to go 'till I get internet access on my room...
  11. Always knew he was the one to invent that word. Random image of the day:
  12. Quote-a-holics! I'll just post my system again MSI K7N420 motherboard AMD XP2400+ (2.00 GHz) 512 MB DDR333 ram 80 GB Seagate 7200 rpm Radeon 9600 Pro 128 MB 16x40x DVD-Rom NEC 16x DVD-Burner onboard sound and network (10/100) 5.1 sound system (Currently in use as a 4 points system, bloody on-board soundcard.)
  13. Yes, same here. 10 MB tests do add alot to bandwidth use though, so it's a bad idea to make such big tests public. CA3LE does this already, and he posted a link a few times already.
  14. We're spamming... at least that's what he thinks we're doing. We are spamming spammers.
  15. There is a 'RWIN' for upload, but it's not as important as download RWIN. Windows standard is good enough for most uploaders, and if it isn't, complain to your ISP, because it's their fault.
  16. Specs, ok, but what about the case? Some are so damn cool, that they're worth listing there as well. I feel sorry for those with bland white cases... NOT!

People going insane is good in fact, so there's a flaw in your logic. jim2006: I'm a gamer, so Intel is not for me. AMD all the way!
  18. You can use just about anything for a CS server, as the physics behind it aren't that complicated. But hosting for 12 with 512 Kbps is a bit too much. At maxium I suppose you can run an 8 player game, but it will still be a bit laggy. At 6 it would be stable.
  19. If you're supposed to have 128 Kbps upload, then I wouldn't even try to tweak. You're getting about 2.5 times your advertised upload then... If your cap is 384, then there isn't much you can do, it might go faster by a few Kbps, but no more.

http://www.techsolo.net/nl/tc-52.htm My new computer, I got my greedy little hands on the black and green version. IT'S GOT NEON LIGHT! Stuff that's in it: MSI K7N420 motherboard AMD XP2400+ (2.00 Ghz) 512 MB DDR333 ram 80 GB Seagate 7200 rpm Radeon 9600 Pro 128 MB 16x40x DVD-Rom NEC 16x DVD-Burner onboard sound and network (10/100) 300 Watt boxes (to be replaced by a 5.1 system O_o ) All that for 625 Euro. Any tips on what to upgrade next year?
  21. Someone tell the Muslims that AOL is against them. I can't wait 'till all executives and helldesk members have been assissinated.
  22. *throws Shug7272 in front of the ICE train* Ok, now what?
  23. Exactly, there is something that's keeping it busy. But as this was a family comp, I have to wait until the other members of the family backed their data up.
