Evil idea: modify the RWIN to be very inefficient. That oughta to get the speed below 1.2 Mbps

Two months later and I've been upgraded yesterday. There's a problem with that link. Try testing the Auth Code with the Auth Check and not with that link. But the time is screwed...

Ironically it's not always the fault of the cable company. I would still be surfing with 300 kbps without adjusting the RWIN. At the chello testserver results I never see speeds higher than 800 kbps, while they should get up to 1500. Nowadays I'm at 1200 there. I'm still pissed about my upload.

Changing just the RWIN has made a huge difference for me, going from 320 to 1400 kbps. The win98 default settings really suck.

Chello (UPC). Most of the time I get 1350 - 1400 kbps (out of 1500, and going overseas) when testing, but then it just wouldn't go any faster. Still waiting for the upgrade Edit: If you saw my upload... it's always been that way when I test here. Is that the minimum speed for the test? During the test ZoneAlarm shows no upload activity, and disabling it has no effect on speed. I get 80 kbps when uploading on the Chello testserver.
