distance has something to do with it. Since i think its a 2mbps its eather a spyware thing, his computer has not been tweaked at all and it could also be he is too far from the CO to get a decent speed.

with small files then its not accurate. i can't get about 800kbps when i upload small files, you need a big file to see your real speed.
