your first mistake was you used the cd that came with it, If your connection your modem through eathernet then you don't need anything on that disk, that is for people that are using USB. Also UPS will not leave a package on your door step unless its worth more then $100 or the suppler request a signature. Also its UPS's policy drivers are not allowed to go to any back door, just the front door.

so true, your system can actually get hotter if you let this happen.

Buffalo products are very good, there routers are some of the best you can get. Ive never had a problem with the 2 that ive used.

his advertised is 8/768kbps. its more realistic Izzy, but its alittle slow for your advertised speed, use tcp optimazer to tweak it, you can get it here http://www.testmy.net/forum/t-11975 move the slider to 8000kbps, check "optimal settings" and make sure the network adapter is the correct one, apply and restart.

ya ok sure, let me just throw my money into something that might not be legit. :haha:

its just something that happens some times, it happens to me, when i do the smart test i get about a 250kbps - 500kbps lower result unless i clear my cache that happens to me because i keep such a small cache.(1mb)
