  1. here you go http://www.testmy.net/tools/database/db_search.php?type=user&q=WatchMeNow&limit=30&sort=&d= but you can do it your self, just go to database stats, then member stats.
  2. your 100% correct, but dead pixels is just something that happens on a LCD there is no way around that, thats why manufactures wont replace it if there is less then 6 or 8 dead pixels the cost is to high. Its the same thing with plasma TVs if the plasma gas leaks after 30 days on most manufactures they wont replace the TV because its just something that can happen.
  3. no you didnt, the fastest test result you got in the past 30 tests is 1477kbps have a look for your self http://www.testmy.net/tools/database/db_search.php?type=user&q=fastbreaker&limit=30&sort=&d=
  4. fastbreaker, you didnt get that speed, please dont edit your test results.
  5. yea i do because adelphia's plans are still 4mbps/384kbps and 6mbps/768kbps, he is getting the upload for the 6mb download plan but the download speed he gets is what you get on the 4mb plan
  6. i have no idea what that is, but its one ugly ass car.
  7. :haha: its a sad day when your kids can out smart you.
  8. she would just find another mouse and plug it in, or use the keyboard to navagate.
  9. hay mrproper what modem do you use, and do you have the newest firmware for it? yea that would be nice if you could find that, id like to read through it. thanks in advance
  10. hmm i didnt know ADSL2+ did not use the extra 8 bytes. you shouldnt have a problem getting your router to use 1500 for a mtu, i think they all let you set that manualy.
  11. ive never herd that one. Ive seen people burst pixels by doing that. but never make them turn back on.
  12. thats another great monitor
  13. have you done any tweaking to your download because you should be at 6mbps with that upload.
  14. samsung 940b, $279.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16824001067 probally one of the best LCDs you can get. edit: also this viewsonic for $209 is very good http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16824116373

  16. that little pink dot your seeing is 1 pixel, if you had 6 of those scattered all over the screen then you could get a new one.
  17. well as much as i hate to say it, i think your stuck, and your going to have to live with that little dot. I asked a guy that i work with who deals with the TVs and he said westinghouse was 6 dead pixels or more and they will replace the tv, any less and they dont do anything.
  18. he wants you to upload a file using FTP to see what speed you are actually getting.
  19. that responce from them is not justfied there should be no dead pixels, and i dont think you complained enough eather. if you complain enough and say your unhappy and you gonna return it, they will help you get a replacement. But the longer you hold on to it the more you are stuck. the company i work for, when ever we by a LCD or Plasma TV we always buy them from like a Best buy and we test them within 30min of purchasing them to make sure there are no problems if there is we take them right back. and id advise you to take that thing right back to were you got it.
  20. he is underclocked quite a bit.
  21. Its a dead pixel, normally they are white, but in your case its pink, you can try to get it to fire again by simply turning off and on the TV alot that sometimes works, but other then that there is really nothing you can do other then take the TV back and get a new one. you shouldnt have a problem taking it back considering its a westinghouse they are usially good about that.
  22. Nice thats pertty good for a xp 3200
  23. my ISP has all that too, but i don't use it just becaue i dont trust any thing they give me. same here.
  24. dwt1966's is from speakeasy. but his download is a little bit slow for the upload.
  25. p0rnrh3tt use a bigger test file as van suggested, use IE to test as well if you can. if your advertised is between 256-512Kbps you are getting that. so your internet is fine. The reason you can get more when you use a download manager, is becuase it opens up more connections to the webserver. But most of the time those speeds you see there are fake, there not hte actually speed you are getting.
