are you using the drivers on the dell website or drivers from ATI's site?

disable your filewall and see if that does it.

have you tried reformating the drive. if not do it again but dont use fdisk, use the windows xp cd to do it.

you cant do it with disk images, you going to need a disk drive.

alot of dust would not get it becuase it would be blowing air out, leaving the case side open would allow for alot of dust to get in, as well as some other unwanted things. If your going to just replace the slow fan thats already there then your going to need eather a 120mm or a 80mm, most likey a 120mm, you can mesure the fan and find out.

coldcell this doesnt seem like a internet problem at all, if you have the newet drivers for your graphics card and that didnt make a difference then lower the graphics setting for the game and see if it still does it.

i perfer AVG just becuase it works all the time, and they get updates out for virus really fast. Avast is good virus software i just like AVG better, But what ever one you use, you are getting good protection.

wait thats a ata100 drive, you dont need a driver for that, don't push F6, just continue, windows should find the drive.
