Has any one else been getting a bunch of SMF connection errors and Database connection errors over the past few days. Ive been getting them all the time. ADD: got two when i tried to post this.

lenkrufka at my office there is a computer about 800 feet away from the switch, and we were constantly having problems with loss packets and the internet not working, so all i did was put in a router about half way and it fixed the problem.

those 478 motherboards with PCIE are all for the most part, for the Pentium M processor. a regular P4 wont work in it.

well ya, going from a 1100mhz processor to that would be a night and day difference.

welcome to the forum Sco77 highend chips can be for anyone with a job and a little time. personally i would never spend more then $350 on a processor, because i can always over clock it and get the performace of a $500-$600 CPU.

of couse it did, but it had to be copied from firefox. but there is 1 thing that FF can't match, and that is IE7s speed.

glad you got your speed back corrupted12. it must have been something with the line, and the powercycle allowed your modem to fix it.

IDK haven't seen anyone with it. there was a page that would tell you the fastest download and upload tests take on tmn. but i cant find it anymore, ca3le might have removed it when he remade the site.
