  1. if there is no traffic then your probally looking at 30-35mbps down, and 6-9mbps upload.
  2. its not very impressive. and it looks like i will be making the switch back to Intel once conroe come out.
  3. no it wont fit unless you basically cut the whole back half off the case and the mounting rack as well. i don't think anyone makes any cases that will fit a dell motherboard.
  4. brock01 the power supply is really good go with that. but you can't just get a new case. dell uses a proprietary case format your dell motherboard is not going to fit in a regular ATX case. your going to have to seriously modify the case to make it fit correctly.

  9. Webroot Spy Sweeper 4.5 you may want to give that a try. aslo if you can run the scans in safemode.
  10. just push the print screen key on your keyboard, then go into paint click edit past, save it, then post the picture.
  11. do a print screen. and post it.
  12. right click on the card, and click properties, then internet protocal and you will get that screen that i posted earler.
  13. when in the control panel click network and internet connections, then network connections, then you will have your network card.
  14. go to control panel and get to network connections, right click on your network card and go to properties, open internet protocol (TCP/IP) and make it look like the picture below.
  15. ok no numbers but you can get on the internet. thats odd. try to manualy configure your connection.

  17. are you sure its 192.168.0.1? i had a dlink once and it was 192.168.1.1.
  18. well thats good, but if your on the 8mbps plan that speed kinda sucks.
  19. when you go to a higher speed, it creates lots of noise in the line and that will kill speed. and that is probally what is happening here. so they are the only ones that can fix it.

  22. you can fix it if you do that, just boot into dos and do scanreg/restore and it will restore a backup of the regestry.
  23. Sonu a quick way to screw windows up is go into the registry and start deleting things randomly.
