Ive just about switched 100% to safari. On my mac and windows PC's. It works really well, and with the latest version is really fast. Pages render quite a bit faster then firefox and IE. And things are so smooth. Flash and heavy ajax on FF or IE performers really sluggish. On safari its really fast and smooth. I think its much better then FF.

You need to install zlibary on the server. Its a compressor http://www.zlib.net/ The best thing to do is not upload templates through the web script it self. But to upload them directly too the server over FTP then manually install them.

1.6GHz is not pushing it for vista. Since its a pentium dual its plenty fast enough. Ghz don't matter as much anymore. Vista will work just fine on any dual core processor.

Look for a switch. Most notebooks, have switches on the notebook for wifi. They are usually on the front of the notebook.

Its not some people, its millions of people that are switching. And since leopard came out, its gone sky high. And a good amount of it can be tribute to Microsoft's failure to innovate. I can't think of anything that they have innovated on since windows 9.x There code base is way too big, and total crap, and they can't innovate on that. Look at there mobile platform, its total garbage, hasn't really been changed since v4, apple comes in and spanks them, now google is going to come in and spank them some more. The xbox is about the only thing they have done right in the past 5 years, and look how messed up that has been. Not being able to innovate will be the death of Microsoft and its already happening. They are stuck in this 1980's mind set, and steve ballmer is going to be the worst thing to ever happen to them. He will be the one to kill Microsoft because he has no clue how to make his developers innovate. EDIT: The biggest reason Microsoft falls to innovate now is because they are too big. All the teams they make for project's are too big and they can't seem to innovate when they do that. The first xbox team was very small and they did innovate with that.

I would have to say no. Microsoft hasn't really innovated since windows 95. And Since they started doing there 1 OS for all, they have just dropped the ball on everything. Microsoft doesn't innovate, they copy other companies innovations.

But do we really need 50mpg? Right now, yes but, If we where using our own oil, not buying oil form anyone with a plan in place that within 20 years all new cars can't use oil they have to use X (what ever that be) then no we don't need 50mpg, what we have now would be more then fine, because it would be the 50's and 60's for gas prices all over again.

But I can drive 2 miles look out off my beach and see a chinese oil platform, how is that far? your not a fault for using gas. No one is. Its the only real thing to use right now. Until someone comes up with something, that is actually usable by the masses your not a fault, when that happens then you will be a fault for using gas. The only people that are at fault, are the dip shits in washington that wont let us get our own oil. china can get our oil but we can't, and thats because of the dip shit nancy pelosi run congress. NP. I moved my servers over to centOS 5 in january from RHEL and will never go back. Now I just gotta get is off this crappy OS called windows server 2003 here and move to centOS only problem is exchange wont work

Yes you can. people have issues because they never install it right. linux goes last because it is the newer operating system then vista. Everyone installs linux first which is a huge no no.....

It is forecasted to hit $200 a barrel because the Dollar was so poor. The only major reason oil really went up was because the dollar was so poor. It looks like that is starting to change. If the dollar start to go up to where it should be the price of oil will be cut in 1/2 Another thing to look at is gold. When the price of gold falls the dollar goes up, and oil goes down. Gold is down to about $850 from over $950 about a month ago.

All that needs to happen for the price of gas to go down is the dollar needs to get better. Thats all. But it will never do that if the fed keep cutting rates, we are down to 2 points now. which is almost the lowest its ever been. They are most likely going to pause from cutting rates now which is a very good thing. If its true and if at the next fed meeting they don't cut rates look for the dollar to go up, and the price of oil to go down. Oil is way too expensive, and even the oil companies have admitted it finally. They say it should be around $60 a barrel which is about right.

AMD has had a quad core for a long time now. And it pretty much sucks. They are nothing compared to the core 2 quad or xeon 5400 series.

You can beat the price. A $150 AMD processor vs. a $150 intel processor, the intel spanks it all day long. Intel made a few price cuts the other week to make there processors more competitive in price with AMD, and the intel's are faster.
