(server2) might have been a bit overloaded and there for did not give you the full potential of your life but as probably have a 6Mbps connection or could you advise us in what connection do u really have from a not so overloaded server 1 you got an acurate test im refering to the 2nd one

Mark2HK how do you know you are having packet lost? when u try to VPN into the other site what sort of problems are u facing slow connection? no connection? unstable ?

hi jazzpicker and welcome to the forum pal Am i right to assume you are with Comcast's? what package are you with? you can do various things to improve your internet and your pc u can tweak your windows version, you can tweak ur connection also could u give us some more information on your connection and your system in particular also noticed that you are getting 39% of the average this could be because the majority of people have the faster package with comcast what is ur advertised speed and what is ur test speed here?

yeah u can make ur PC as a proxy server is the only way to do it but thats a bit crazy

if you are in the usa any built in mother board card should be WAY FAST if you are in japan or sweeden where they have 100Mbps connection or hong kong 1Gbps then your network card has to be a good one to get those connections

yeah you could also attach the HD to a running OS so it would be like an extran hard disk and not the main partion and then run some checks on it disk check and or reformat it

yeah some guys made a linux version for the nano so u could watch videos on it i dont have a nano but seen some pictures of it looks slick

try one thing at a time to eliminate problems try the old computer with the new RAM and see if ti works if it does then try with the new HD and see if it works it looks like to me a problem with the HD
