Like i said on my last post, reformatting doesn't do the job completely' you have to wipe the drive clean......

i used the VISTA INSPIRAT download for a few months to give my computer the Vista look and it looks great but i did notice a few problems such as dvd playback on power dvd was bad' for some reason it would prevent power dvd to display the video and just gave me a dark screen with sound' plus it did slow down my computer a bit at start up......

formating a drive doesn't necessarily erase everything' you have to wipe the drive clean completely, format and do a system recovery with your computer recovery disc's' i personally use Paragon Hard Disk Manager 6.0 Pro to Wipe HD clean and to format and also to have my whole drive on back up with bootable Cd's

its true people will do anything to get things for free' but sometimes getting free stuff by doing illegal acts could be more expensive than paying for them when caught and in prision.... not worth it.

is there a big difference between the online scanner and the actual download ? EDITED: I scanned my computer with AD-AWARE PRO and with CCleaner and there was nothing left behind' computer was completely clean after deleting adware, spyware and cookies etc..... I Installed EWIDO ANTI-MALWARE 3.5 and i found nothing' my computer was clean with my usual installed software' therefore i see no difference and nothing special about it'

If i would have known that i wouldn't be able to play them back i would have taken them back after the first 10 dics but i burnt all 50 and they are all but useless on my computer and some are difficult to play on dvd players' too late for that' but you are right it just might be a bad batch of dics and im stuck with watching them on a regular dvd player and not being able to make a copy off of them..

I have a great number of burnt DVDs and i had never had a problem playing them anywhere especially on my computer' ever since i bought a 50 pack of Sony blank DVD+ 4.7GB i been having this problem... My two DVD Drives will not recognize any burnt media, when i insert a DVD neither does Windows media player will play my disc's I tried updating my drives but I'm told that my drives are currently updated with the latest updates' therefore i don't know what to do anymore What do any of you think it might be the problem? could it be that i have been infected by the infamous Sony rootkit virus since i actually have burned a few Sony DVD movies BTW i just inserted a brand new DVD of Spider-man and it automatically played it

Adelphia's low level technicians sent me here since i was using CNET they said testmy.net was the most accurate bandwidth testing site' I been on this kool site for almost a year now' Adelphia's tech's are not so low tech after all, they know a good site when the use one!! well at least with testmy they got it right!!

Well its good to know that someone actually likes Norton' i suppose that you keep away from trojan infested websites' i didn't and i always got infected, Norton was unable to fix or delete some of the infections thats why i got rid of it....

How can you be happy with something that blocks only 50% of attacks? i used it before and i was blinded by it' I thought i was safe with its protection until i found Kaspersky' BTW I Do miss Norton's firewall simply because its the best firewall for Ad Block and Pop Ups. Other than that to me its useless'

that link helped as it gave me the option or idea to copy the windows xp set up files to the windows folder on my documents.... it worked and now i have upgraded once again to XP Pro... Thanx!!

i used a cable booster a long time ago and i didn't like the way my TV looked with it installed ' it looked like a power surge was hitting it all the time' maybe now they are better made and will not mess up the picture quality and give a cable modem a better and stronger signal...

well you can try it and if it doesn't work you can always get a refund'
