I really have not done any research myself but I think firefox is probably safer!!! Since like other say look at all the patches microsoft puts out!!! But firefox is better for reasons like the tab feature and more I like it!!!

As far as I go I get like 3 pauses now in my download speed test witch I didn't even after I tewaked just started happening!!! And it is only on the speed test for me not on other sites!!! But as far as I go I am happy with it I get like 2.5 mbs and I pay for 3mb dsl so its all good!!! But I think it is my fault on the pauses on the speed tests I think it is because I think my system has ads on it!!! Because I installed exeem and after it started screwing up I remove them but they keep coming back!!! But oh well I will just have to reinstall windows but not yet my C drive is full I need to back it up on my dvd's since my external hard drive is full also or deleted something!!! But anyway I think cable server is working just fine I think It is on my end!!! Also vanburen after I put you tweaks on I get like a transfer rate of like 1.0mbs at first or in the beggining witch is cool then it stays up around 400kbs for awhile then down to like 360kbs or something witch is what it should be so thanks agian for the tweaks man!!!

Yea I check out that site awhile ago just forgot about it!!! I just searched for torrent sites and it came up!!! But it is a nice site but I haven't got any of the torrents to work yet anyone else having problems!!!?

As far as you DSL line goes it looks to me like you have a problem in your line not on your side but on the ISP's side call and complain and so them your results!!! I don't know if there is anything wrong with the speeds of the current server but it would be nice to have a Idle server wouldn't it!!!? So why don't well all donate a little to cable so we can get another!!!?

I have noticed pauses also in my speed tests now also!!! And as far as your pauses go man all I can say is maybe it is just that the servers are busy!!! Or maybe it is like vanburen said about how it puts part in the temp folder not sure ask him to help he can help alot thanks!!!

Well Vanburen I have no Idea!!! I got my video card for 75 dollars I was told it was a stripped dwon version of the 9600 since it is a 9550 not sure!!! Also I also thought I had a very crap card right after I got it because my games were skipping at the beginning and I tried to play Need For Speed Underground 2 and it skip also and it sucked!!! But that was back when I had only 256mb ram and windows was using almost all or all of it!!! Now I bought 512 more and my games run very nice no skips!!! That ram helped alot!!! So are those results bad don't know!!! I can play doom 3 on high and all my other games I think!!!

Hey didn't someone say something like, I just got my new 10mb or 100mb line up here in canada before he was a student!!! I remeber reading a post like that anyone else!!! Because if it is cheap up in cananda then hell I am moving!!! Since my hole family came from there it would be nice to go see it!!! So anyone remeber that!!!? Yea well mines not that old but older than that but I have had mine for less than a year I think!!! But anyway that is probably why you got it from walmart there pcs are not the best!!! Also if you got it from walmart then you should have a box with it look on the box it should have the kind of ram!!! Or look at your books it should have came with some!!!

Me myself hate beer it is nasty to me!!! But liquor is my favorite!!! Like a strawberry magritta yea!!! But I never drink more than two!!! Because two gets me were I still know what I am doing and It sometimes makes me walk a little wierd but not much!!! Well that was probably your problem DDR2 is like the second DDR and is only available on most recent systems!!! And you probably had yours for awhile meaning that it is older or like mine not to old and uses DDR not DDR2!!! Do you have a book for your pc or a motherboard book!!!? I don't know if HP comes with them but mine did but it was custom build by me!!! But anyway if you have a book on it it should say what kind of ram will work thanks!!!!

I downloaded a .bin file from a file sharing program it is supposed to be need for speed underground 2 ,2 cds I got one but it is in a .bin file and it is like 760mb and I don't know what I am supposed to do with it!!!? Or what I am supposed to use to open it? Or what a .bin is!!!? Also is it like a ISO image or what please help thanks!!!?

Well anyway I agree about the speeds they are nice!!! But I get so many cool things with my dsl like 750mbs briefcase or online storage free premium or no ads launch cast radio and I get a really nice home page with everything in the world I could want on it!!! Plus it is so much cheaper!!! And the features of sbc dsl are so many compared to cable!!!

Well most of the people on here have cable internet and it usually is above advertised speed without tweaking!!! But as far as for me I have DSL and I get above advertised speeds and sometimes download thanks to the tweaking vanburen helped me with thanks vanburen!!! Also vanburen will probably help you to if he hasn't already thanks!!!

IN my opinion AOL Sucks!!! I had them for like 3 months or so and every time I called to get it discounted they gave me another month or 2!!! So I stayed for 3 months then guess what I got rid of it and then I got a bill in the month for like 34 a month for 3 months!!! I called them several time and they finally I think took of on month or something but we still ended upi paying for like 2 months!!!! They ripped me off %^&%&*^@#!!!!

Well I don't know to say but maybe you should find a new ISP!!
