Well not to toot my own horn but I am an ASE certified Mechanic. I will say this. It is much better to blow out the rear than the front but why not throw on a couple of cheap tires?. Phase two I am a volunteer EMT. I have seen many accidents from crap like that and you should think twice befor doing that. Phase three what kind of car do you have? Phase four 100k miles is about were all of the mager problems occur( in most vehicals) Phase five I always drive it like i stole it unless my kids are with. when i first updated it down loaded a new installer/updater. after that it went pretty smooth. did find that it dont auto update like it should so i went throug and did manual update. It did however smoke my video card setting and was runnig in 4bit mode( didn't know it could do that). I manual dont work, try kicking it and dont forget about the hey do you have popup stopper? its free and works very well

I just went from amchine to machine and looked at the results. They did seem to be differant. I have 4 computers on the same router and they do okay the memory is the killer

The newest game this system runs decently is Halo 1. UT2004 is at 10 fps or less, so I'd say it's obvious that I do not play Doom3. The story and darkness don't interest me, so I'll just stick to the easy to run games like Quake3. I'm hoping that Quake4 will be playable on a system as crappy as mine. If you like quake try returen to castle wolfenstien. Same engine fun fun fun game. I play the enemy territory mod my self. As for those other games I have not had the chance to play them yet. But I also come from the old school of playing decent (1) over the high speed 14k modem for a long time and started moving up from there. I also have five kids with one on the way so i dont get to spend money on new games so i wait untill they drop in price then the other trick is i dont need a new machine. well i will stop babling and dont forget to look for SMQP_bigw to frag you acouple of times too.

sounds like to me that you need a bigger gun.

i have a slightly diferant d-link but i had the same problems, i had to restart the computer after gettng it all set up and then restart again and power off the modem and d-link to get it to work. good luck
