DWay is terrible but it is broadband with latency. But When I purchased my family's Dway system it was 110 a month but only for a 12 month contract.

its adelphia's secret speed tier but whatever, i get the full(4 mbps, 5 with a D/L accelerator) or close to it so i dont complain, would like some sort of FTTP tho, but then again, who wouldnt?

honestly no, i was trying to find a test site with the same size, I just clicked on it and it loaded instantly, no idea why, i never test on any servers cept the main one(s) and i think i did it once on VanBuren's but that isn't a cached test. I tried doing a Cached test but it gave me a over 60,000Kbps throughput message thingy:-P

i had thought it was from how he said it, thats really the only other broadband centralized website i know of. But these forums are more rounded and provide a general, more friendly forum than that of DSLR.

your DHCP is your IP address. It just means your router/modem/thing has to go out and get a new IP once every day usually. your DNS Servers wouldn't change that. Oh and faster speeds, I wouldn't know, I've never had to change my DNS's. Maybe someone who experianced the comcast DNS problem could help yea.

Comcast Announces Speed Increase: 200mbps down/ 512k up wouldn't surprise me since cable co's answer to everything, give huge increases in dl and minimun in ul although it will be interesting to see if comcast keeps the speed upgrade from adelphia it would really twerp me off since I am an adelphia customer and i plan to upgrade to the 10/1 service when available Hoepfully comcast(there taking over my system, im in pa) will keep the speeds and not downgrad everyone back to 4/384 when they take over the systems of adelphia...

Go back to dialup. You will get better speeds on an https connection through dialup than you would with DWay.

I know exactly how you feel, when you call to cancel they will try and sell you 3 months free. I told them thanks, but I'm going with cable which is 4 times faster and no FAP. They told me they were sorry to here that.
