  1. Did you mean the 32 bit , not the architecture ? Just seeing if I don't understand something.....
  2. I'm well aware of the way the courts can be manipulated in the way of letting someone know there time is called to be in court, check this, I had a case against someone several years back that needed to be expedited for reasons i wont disclose, the attorney handling my case at the time, suggested to me that he list the case in what he called " the lawyers paper" , now this "paper" is available to anyone, but no one reads it because they is it's sole purpose, to legally summon one to court, because "legally" it must be published, and so it was, I won by default. Nice hey ? As far as the fraudulent documents ? We'll see about that, anyone can wrote anything in an article, although I hope they were falsified / forged due to the nature of how this has been handled, but at the same time, someone would have had to plan for this to eventually revealed. Look, if your filing a case against someone, or an entity that by all means of the law, or moral, whatever you want to name piracy, then who would expect anyone to actually do something illegal, right ? And who will stand up for the loser , after all, we are simply talking about money, it's roots are nothing more then dollars. Morals mean nothing anymore.
  3. If this were me, I would in no way allow myself to be subjected to "7" , until it has been in the wild for more then a few RC's, pirated VM's, and out right lab rat testing. If you get the laptop at the right time, with XP installed, and an upgrade CD which will certainly be the full version, and wait until the mass google searches on how to fix , repair, download drivers, blah blah, well that would be optimal, expecially investing money right now, I would go worth something proven over time such as XP, MS's best OS.
  4. This country is well on it's way to complete and utter destruction. The pukes in office, ALL offices, are in it for the money and power, massive corporations are in complete control, the ones that are not , are nothing more then grubs that feed on instilling fear, so that progressive leniinists cohort along side the way of egalitarianism to make the weakest of minds believe that there purpose is to set up a gift economy of sorts because everyone wins and no one should ever have anything more , or other then another, all the while conspiring to further the ever expanding tentacles of babylon. >>>>> here's a little bit of why I call the US babylon, because IT IS ! So no, I would rather have no space exploration, no worthless war, no crashing into any planet anywhere until we as a people look at our brother and denounce the idealist perverted mindset that has not only taken morals, but value of life intentionally for the soul purpose of domination. There are more powers that are in control then 99% of the people would ever open up to begin to understand, let alone be objective enough to perceive what is actually happening. It's a disgusting yet perfect portrayal of what has been written, fulfilling every prophecy in complete order.
  5. The second one because of the screen resolution. They look like there just about the same though.
  6. My first thoughts would be this is a copy that is in some way corrupt. If this, then reburn at the slowest speed. If it is not, then you may want to install a different optical drive for the install.

  8. Like I say, you can do this several ways, one would be to go get yourself a free dynamic dns name from somewhere such as dyn-dns, or even better no-ip , set the folders / files you want in the permissions to the user. You might also use the dd-wrt's VPN settings, I dunno exactly which distro you have flashed, but many of them are capable. I'm going to have few minutes tomorrow, and I'll set this up on mine so I can help you get there. I usually store my files on a remote ftp, but it's time to play with this I suppose
  9. Damn ! Dude, have a good day really, and remember have plenty of fun over there , and thanks !!! Can't wait for the pics and contact from you
  10. Thanks , I know that most people just click, punch in there numbers , and go, damn, it didn't go through , hmm, try again. Iv'e noticed this from facebook, paypal, and several other sites, but those two the most, (jeeze facbook and myspace are covens of viral, fraudulent tracking, tracing , nasty gathering place for harvesting personal information wow !! ) I pay close attention to the certificates of any site , so if it's not in my store and valid, b-bye now..... it shows up if I'm not paying attention. Plus I toss them regular, so I sometimes run into small hold ups , but whats wrong with looking at the certificate of someplace your typing in vital information. Takes two seconds to move your eye's to the thing.
  11. Seriously ? Over a cable, and learning something this valuable ? ok then. Actually, I need people thinking this way. Your right Yea no problem bro ! This is how I'm setting up this last 12 systems I have out of this bunch, with the dang PS only having one frickin SATA power connector, (it's ok though, I got 30 of them for $400. and change ) so I can sell them for next to nothing. ) And I got 22 DG33's for $370. and some change. And enough E4600's to fill them up. With the stacks of IDE's I had left, this worked well. So no worries zalternate, it' gonna fly. I just got one of the 41's this last week, and whoa, that thing tick right along with a E7400 stuck in it. !!!! I'm going to be looking for deals on those.
  12. Problem solved. I should have known by the "cyclic redundancy " error which pertains to data checking during data transmission. Hard disks have redundancy, where optical drives do not, without correct cabling. Therefore SOME IDE optical drives will not operate properly with the 80 pin cable w/ DMA 100 capabilities. Besides, you lose your transfer rate when using the 80 pin. Nothing wrong with the HDD, I tried everything, all peripherals, including power cord, power surge strip, memory, ok, everything accept the optical drive IDE cable, and the only reason I didn't, is because believe it or not, that there, is what came with it. !!!!! Nice one liteon. None the less, this still does not explain why I could not install the OS even on a brand spankin new intel "41" E7400 w/ serial ATA optical and the same HDD, thats still out there. So it took me a bloody week to build someone a computer system, I actually had to pull more components from stock to give them the next day delivery. Unbelievable over something that doesn't even google. So keep this in mind.
  13. Been working on this thing for a week, I posted earlier about error "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" on an Intel DG33BU . I assumed it was the board, after exhausting everything in my arsenal of utilities, Iv'e come to the conclusion that there's a few bad sectors in the SATA drive. MAybe not, maybe it's the entire drive, I dunno, but the drive is less then 6 months old, and although that means nothing, I want to attempt to recover the drive if possible. So what I'm looking for is a bootable utility that will not only locate the bad sectors, but mark them as bad so the drive can be used. I hope someone has a link to something for me. "seatools" (seagate drive) doesn't seem to have what I need. Thanks Also I'm getting the error "cyclic redundancy check "
  14. I think the 100 has faster communication possibilities ten the 66, other then this, (I think ) there pretty much the same thing, so long as the spindle speeds are the same. If by chance one of them has a cache in there, I would opt to use that.
  15. They move things around sometimes, and rename them. Why ? dunno. Anyhow to get to to directory access utility, click the apple Menu, goto system preferences. goto accounts, then login options. click edit, to the right of "Network Account Server and you should see the directory access utility there. You shouldn't have that much of problem with the printer, just instal it, and share it, so long s your on the same domain as the rest of the machines, windows will see it. You might have to install new printer, on the XP machine, and search for one that way , if that doesn't work, make sure the printer is shared, then use bonjour to get it up and running. Set it as default printer, Iv'e not had to open any special ports for this. Of course check the firewall. To access your files remotely, you could just take that static IP, and get a dyn-dns name, or no-ip name, download there updater, and set the files, and users you want to allow to see/ share whatever in the "share" in system prefs. You can also try setting up apples built in remote desktop feature. Or you could use the VPN in there.
  16. WoW :haha:
  17. Could you give more of your opinion , or something that you know maybe as to why this wont work ? I went ahead and signed up for there beta, hope they get back with me
  18. We'll be looking forward to that address so we can send what you need
  19. Which version of folding are you using ? The console or the GUI ?
  20. I suppose you would benifit from this guide, by initially setting up this way, you might find many of the problems your having will melt away. There are several ways to use the printer on your mac,http://127.0.0.1:631 is your "CUPS " print server. Hopefully some of this helps.
  21. Guy's c'mon , take it easy on each other ...........
  22. Actually I have been using smb to get to local servers, I haven't used any ftp from mac since tiger because it stinks, there's no upload support, even in finder it still stinks on ice, so if you have a good way then please, share ? I don't understand why setting the static didn't work, I must be missing a step that i normally take :/ So are you able to connect doing it that way ? Iv'e never even tried to set up a static IP that way.
  23. Iv'e had this set off to the side for while, I believe "coolbuster" made this, although i can't be sure. Just be careful , and don't say I didn't tell you to call smart bro about this, and not to try it for yourself, because i can't test this to prove it. Iv'e never been on a smart network Here's how to find your canopy IP so you can access it, and change settings.
  24. :haha: You know, it's a gamer, the kind with the extra "M" in it , there yummie
