Iv'e had this issue, seems that when there's an external drive connected, at times , this happens, so I have to ask, any external drives connected during startup ? Do this, start in safe mode, watch to see where it stops, what's loading at the time it slows down, is it "mups.sys " ?

Maybe you should try using TightVNC , you will be able to connect from any windows machine. Do a bit of reading on it, iv'e not used it until now, so I'll see if i can get it working. -
Nice CPU, 4000 MHz L2 Cach = 4 x 512KB L3 Cache = 6MB So long as the board can hande the transfer rates, that thing would rock !!!! !!!

Never assume that just because you are connected to the DMZ port , ESPECIALLY when using DD-WRT, that the ports are open, never ! Using that firmware, I don't believe the DMZ port is wide open as it was before the change. I dunno, i never relied on DMZ for the simple config issues of it alone. -
Maybe the drive is "doa" , but your an educated man, by this we know never to assume, anything. Check the jumpers, change cable , change rail on the power supply, check bios as stated in earlier post, if ll else fails, better get that thing back before the return date expires no ?

First off , there not "my members" ok, they are there own persons . Now that we have that out there, you have stated so many times you didn't create this thread for ISP comparison, will you describe exactly the purpose of this thread creation for us ? Because it appears that it's nothing more then advertisement. Whether it is or not, thats another thing On another note, I have no control over who, or where someone decides to post there thoughts ok , it's not in my life description to control thoughts , feelings or actions, and i would hope we all feel the same way.

I'll never probably run into her , so whats the difference She was in that movie where the two married couple were on the boat, and this dude called in on the radio he was sinkin, they picked him up, and thats where the trouble started, anyone ?

After being confrontational to everyone that tried talking to you in here , you say that ? hmm, nothing to it. Considering after you got tired of beating back others opinions, you resorted to posting test after test off hours to prove what I never did see a point.

First off your either going to have to set u a VPN, use, SMB , or use http and open the correct port , I would never put any machine I cared about in the DMZ, many will not agree with that because it can be configured to another level of security by port closure, whatever on that. If you set up no-ip properly, and you have the DNS name pointing to your wan IP , the updater tracking the dynamic IP from your host , have the correct pots open in the mac, and the router, have the static IP on the mac same as the one in the router forwarded to the mac, and the files shared to the account you are trying to access, then you should be a go. Watch out for the firewall in leoaprd, it may be holding you up. Does this soud anything like what you've done ? -
Oh man, thats gonna be a super hard work session, i know it would be for me, I might even concoct something to stay home ,, nah, not a good idea

Thats cool, but this isn't an advertisement thread for where someone might work, where they only test through the morning, and afternoon hours that are considered to be off peak. Looking at the thread title makes one look deeper, as well as other claims (that I have investigated myself ) that have been brought to my attention by several other members as to the authenticity of a on biased opinion based on career / employment. Thats still out there, at least at this point. Please also keep in mind this is an open free forum, where every user has the ability to post as they feel necessary, is whatever area they feel there voice could be heard about whatever they please. At least at this point.

I don't see anything later in the morning than 10:35 AM and any earlier then 5:38 PM, that kinda leaves out the entire "peak usage " time. Point is, it's really false results, can't change that.

Check to see that in the bios the HDD settings are set to IDE instead of sata. Dont ask me, because I don't really get it, but in all the intel boards I put together , thats what I have to do to get it to recognize them sata's. Many times they'll also need to be a setting for a raw drive to "install OS" .

Iv'e seen it, until this post, I actually thought it was a network failure , lag of some sort. twas last week while working at a clients home on a crapped out system, and the netgear router that shat itself.
