So with the new driver how are the pictures loading ? Don't look at those 0's like they mean nothing, because in a computer a 0 means the firsts device or an address. And binary numbers, but not here.

It's not a whole lot of video memory, so driver choice is gonna be a key player. Here's the Intel driver site, look on the page for the intel driver update utility, You might want to try what they have to offer, no matter what your using right now.

OK then , there's a couple ways to get there, right click on the desktop, click properties, then settings , then advanced, then adapter. This should show the info we need.

You have one Hard drive right ? Then the mounted OS should be on dev 0 port 1 on the motherboard. I'm assuming this unless you tell me you built this computer....... Lets just go back a bit. Were delving into things that are the next step, my fault. What video card do you have ?

I watched parts of the first texas movie, no plot, boring ass nothing but buckets of blood. Whatever. I have never seen any of the saw movies, and probably never will, it just does nothing for me. I'm taking a stab that dev0 is the HDD. DMA mode 5 is the latest, so I'm sure thats fine. You were saying something about you changing video card drivers ? What video card do you have ?

I'm not going to get into that just yet, first I suggest you turn on DMA if not already done so, do this via control panel, system, hardware, device manager. Doubleclick on IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers, Second Tab. There you'll see what DMA setting Windows XP is using.

So who's running the graphics card client ?
