Hey PaulC1986 , welcome to Testmy.net I know this, In my router "Linksys BefSx41" , I can limit BW by IP internal address. Take a look around in yours, or locate the Manual , or post the model and we'll assist you. Mine is > Applications & Gaming > QOS . Actually I looked , and mine is not by IP, yet by port

I don't have much of a choice, I have several businesses, and they go through QuickBooks. If I didn't do things directly in connection w/ the banks servers, I could really end up in a mess. Plus I don't have to worry about whats in my accounts, it shows in my registry in the program So there's never a discrepancy. Waiting for a piece of paper in the mail would only complicate things.

Yea Ninja, thats another good thing about TMN, you get good answers and not like most other sites where they do say go googlel it

WOW, nice! To be able to forward your feelings to us all as you have is another gift.: ) Glad you kids had such a nice outing. Spring and a great friendship is awesome , makes for a good life. The wife and I did our chores, and set out for a two hour ride on the girls, man was that nice. (although my groin is killin me right now ) lol

KTorrent for me, and I usually just get Linux apps and open source stuff so I don't worry about the copywrites.

Iv'e done the Beta thing when they called it " Longhorn " , and used it after it was released. I really did'nt put much time into it yet , but I felt they have big changes comming for it in the near future. Yep , seen this over a month ago. No need to register anymore, and you can get ultimate if you want, it's all on the same disk. And yes, it will update just fine as well as function properly.

WOW..............I can't wait to see what the answer to this is nice ping times there on the tracert Tim lol

What speeds can everyone else get on there LAN ?

What app are you using to test w/? -
Nah, If it was a great idea, it would have been addressed by now. : )

I have tried many test sites, and I don't really care for tor the " pretty " graphical thing that seems to be associated w/ most of them. TMN has been the most consistant , and I feel the most accurate. Although I do like the information the NDT servers give.

Well that was short lived lol

Yea, on the main page, or the " community "Home page. Something like a small box ie: 125x60 , that we could all hit on. I think it would be better than a :chat room : , because it would be just a quickie thing , that you would not have to have java or any other app, and just holler in when you wanted to blab, or make a quick statement .

Hey Ca3le, how about integrating a " shout box " ? A small window either at the bottom , or the top, could be on the main page or wherever. Just as a members way of quick communication. Iv'e seen it on another message board , and thought it was hot.

This works ! You saved one of my machines a while back w/ this. Sometimes you may have a winsock issue and it doesn't cause problems for a while. I only know this because I remember seeing winsock problem on the descriptions on a NTD server.Yet I could connect, for some time until who knows occured. Good app Voltageman

This is difficult for me as I take everything as a whole. As far as what, I would have to say my dreams are most influential to me. Sounds off the wall to someone who doesn't see what others do

I know you know you s@#T , so I voted for the webserver. I play quite a bit on level that could use some of your expertise. I would be very enthusiastic on this subject.

Good Lord. Could this mean that in a severe case , we could possibly replace the bone tissue loss of a severely rheumatoid woman?

OK, let me understand you, you are saying that in essence, the war that we are in right now has much to do w/ the fight between the dollar , and the euro? Wow, gives me something to think about there does it not? I suppose I could take a bit of that, simply due to the fact that there gas been changes in our currency, like for one , the relatively new colors. I'm just skiddish a bit about the whole one world thing, like the euro, I think we were separated for a reason. And this would only bring us together even more. Not good as a whole . IMO

The first thing I noticed is this: Information: Other network traffic is congesting the link Therefore, something is using bandwidth on your connection. I am no guru as others here, but do this START> RUN > CMD > NETSTAT Look and see how many connections you have alive, and what they are , this may be a good starting point for you. I'm sure someone else will step in , in the mean time : )
