it started on nov. 14 2008, i had problems connecting to the internet and then i opened the canopy using 10.20.30.40 ive done that on the past and worked. but now, i forgot my IP address and the arp -a wont display any of the 10.x.x.x anymore. the reason why i want to go to my canopy is that i suddenly changed the DHCP somthing lick that on ENABLED and the priority is set to low priority and the up and downlink was 300 i want to tweak them ryt now, can anybody help?? and i had to call the smart bro hotline to fix my connection because it cant connect to the net for a week so now, its connected, i want to access my canopy. sorry for my poor english

Hello to all members of testmy.net, ive been reading and following tips from this forum and so far this is is my speed im using Smart Bro 384kbps plan 999, thanks to coolbuster's 20 steps to make smart bro faster. But sadly i cant follow the other guides, I cant access my canopy Im from Bataan anyone from Bataan here? hope to get your feedback about smart bro's connection in our location.

i really get sad when i have seen my connection

Has anyone encountered some problems with smart bro lately? like page not loading well, or page not loading at all, intermittent connection and the like... I live in Zamboanga City, just last week I encountered this problem like some webpages are not loading and you have to keep on hitting the refresh button in order to load the webpage. Even testmy.net did not load, I have to keep refreshing the page in order to load testmy.net page. So I tried to check what the problem is, Im using a router so I hook up smarbro directly to my PC, same issue. Next, I check my canopy and everything is ok, low jitter, hi RSSI.. few SM connected to AP. Third, I scan for viruses and spyware with updated NOD32, run tuneup utilites, delete temp files, defrag registry, defrag hard drive but still have the same issue. I was thinking, there might be a problem with the routing table of smartbro.. I'm not sure.

Hey guys! I would like to know who among you would like to have SendFar installed as SmartBro antenna instead of Canopy, or those whou'd like to stick with the latter? This is Canopy This is SendFar I have heard and read positive feedback on SendFar but your opinions will greatly help. My plan is to forward to SmartBro as many responses as possible.

It's slower then dial up I already did the tweaking of canopy 500 downlink 500 uplink and the gpedit.msc and I already downloaded TCP optimizer and cablenut but I still got this speed

Hey guys im new here, I've been browsing a lot from these forums doing some reading here and there. I'm able to access my smartbro canopy page using the default http:// 169.254.1.1 but the problem is, I can see other peoples account, it keeps refreshing and I could not find the own account in the canopy page. Please help. I really need to change some settings in my canopy. Thanks in advance.

hello guys, im new here and smartbro user also, as of now disconnected na ako sa amartbroker na yan, kasi tapos na lock in period and hindi na rin ako nagbayad to continue. (matagal din akong nagtyaga sa b**sit na smartbro.) i just learned na meron techie guys na bumibili ng canopy and sell it to anyone for unlimited internet acces. para naman makahiganti TAYO! pagpapatulong sana ako sa mga nakakaalam dito. ito ay malaking bagay sa mga smartbro users na natapos na lock-in period nila. maraming salamat!!!

remember the motorola override plug?? as i said before u just need to connect the number4 pin to number 6 pin i discovered that the number 6 pin is the ground so u just have to open your canopy literally and look for the number4 pin and solder it to number 6 no need override plug but be careful just need a single strand wire like 2 inch of it and solder it carefully to pins 2 and six to rj11 connector receiver inside the canopy.now you can do the tweak but be careful specially if u have a router coz what happened to me b4 when i change some seting i i can acces intenet using 1 pc but via router i haver to configure it to static ip jusst so i can connect but after crying so hard i dont know what i did on my setting but now i can acces my cannopy without configuring my tcp setting manually to 169.254.3.3 all i have to do is type the address 169.254.1.1 and im inside hte canopy setting page wow hehehe...and omg my 7 pc is getting like 350 kbps each sametime,my router is linksys befsr41 and no way u can acces it using a router and not reconfiguring my tcp seting to 169.254.3.3.but now i can wooohoooo :haha: i can destroy and i can create p.s.........u can solder the number4 pin and attach it to the body of the rj11 receiver and after doing some changes save and reboot all i can say is goodluck btw u can fry open the canopy by a flat scewdriver at the back there is a lock

Hi there, is it illegal to access you smartbro canopy and change its configuration ( I changed the QoS setting the uplink and downlnk burst allocations from 768 to max 1500) will the smartbro know it?

I access my canopy page in Internet Browser(FireFox) yesterday because I dont have a internet and my friend change the IP of my canopy while I was away in my computer... now I cant access totally my canopy webpage please help... is somebody know how to reset my canopy w/out accessing the canopy page? reset to the default IP(169.254.1.1)? my friend tell me that he changed it into this IP (192.168.224.1) Please Help me

How i can speed up my smartbro connection? plss my smartbro is to slow

the initial smartbro installation was fine with me. it has downsides (disconnects twice or thrice in 3 hours, constant lag but i can still bear it). then after a week i cannot even have a decent download speed.(it was like always below 20kb) called smartbro twice...after 3 weeks i got a response that a techteam will finally go to my place. they say the canopy is broken or something, so they replace it. see if my speedtest sux. :::..
