i just recently became a RR member with time warner buying out comcast here in dallas and they have upgraded me to the10/1 package here are my results

Download Connection is:: 8512 Kbps about 8.51 Mbps (tested with 12160 kB)

Download Speed is:: 1039 kB/s

Upload Connection is:: 932 Kbps about 0.9 Mbps (tested with 1496 kB)

Upload Speed is:: 114 kB/s

Tested from a 12160 kB file and took 10.406 seconds to complete

Download Diagnosis:: Awesome! 20% + : 99.77 % faster than the average for host (rr.com)

hmm are they upgrading the internet for Time warner? i have that service back home. to tell you the truth its hontestly really slow compared to what i have now. i go to School in Rochester NY , and i get 35,000 Download and 15,000 upload yeah our internet is OC3 , we are the leading supplier for internet in the whole North east. But thats cool , sucks coming home in the summer to 5,000 down and 400 up :(

I can only really speak to Time Warner in New York, but I'll try and help ya with your problem -- The one good thing about TW is that they increase the speeds and try not to increase prices. If you're reporting rates lower than what's advertised, let me know -- more often than not, TW is willing to fix it. Sometimes you need a new cable line, a new modem, or something simple. Usually, it's nothing too complicated.
