coolbuster2007 Posted February 13, 2008 CID Share Posted February 13, 2008 i think the "server is down" thing occurs because prizm should not operate on sm level but on the ap level. meaning, a 7mbps upgrade needs to be done in the central station, not in subscriber PCs. if we don't do it that way, its like turning a light switch on yet the main switch is off. derek22x Posted February 13, 2008 CID Share Posted February 13, 2008 It's with the Licensing @CB. It doesn't matter if the server is connected to an SM or AP. I finally figured out why I am getting "SERVER IS DOWN". The licensing server (FlexNET) isn't working
coolbuster2007 Posted February 13, 2008 CID Share Posted February 13, 2008 ok. got it. there must be another prizm server.
Guest sexpert Posted February 13, 2008 CID Share Posted February 13, 2008 canopy lite can only give us a max speed below 1000 Kbps. No matter how you tweak it. That is the hardware limitation.
derek22x Posted February 13, 2008 CID Share Posted February 13, 2008 Well I won't bother figuring out how to make this thing work anymore. I am leaving the country on the 5th of March and I don't think will be back in a couple of years or so. It's great experiencing Smart Bro here in the Philippines hehehehe

derek22x Posted February 15, 2008 CID Share Posted February 15, 2008 what does that mean?? CIR or Committed Information Rate - supposed to be this is the lowest possible bandwidth you can get. MIR or Maximum Information Rate - this is the maximum bandwidth you can get.
