beldeti Posted August 9, 2007 CID Share Posted August 9, 2007 @coolbuster2007 Thanks for the clarification. I was typing 'command' instead of 'cmd', which did give me a DOS-prompt window but it was labeled command.com. Will try again when I get home from work. Anyway, can I do your "20 steps" plus elijahpaul's Canopy Page tweak (as linked by fr0stbound) at the same time? Or should I choose only one? @snip07 that's the usual speed I get, sadly I can't go beyond 300kbps... as if I'm set at 384kbps when my account is already indicated as "SMBRO512"... Where in CdOC are you? Am near Apovel Subdivision.
snip07 Posted August 9, 2007 CID Share Posted August 9, 2007 @beldeti yeah i get only below 300Kbps too, my package name is SMBRO only though. I'm in nazareth

coolbuster2007 Posted August 9, 2007 Author CID Share Posted August 9, 2007 to clean the unused files of my pc im using Advance WindowsCare V2 personal. it is ok to used? or the CCLEANER still the best to use? both can be used. however there are settings that must be left untouched. try to search in the thread for ccleaner. read the posts of tm.n veterans there. So it's not just me, it may be a system-wide problem. I hope it's because they're upgrading or improving their service. Might the stormy weather have anything to do with our downtimes? lantiz Posted August 9, 2007 CID Share Posted August 9, 2007 @ispayk how can i change the power level of my canopy? can u pls give the step by step procedure? and what the effect if my canopy power level is high?
thugster_9904 Posted August 9, 2007 CID Share Posted August 9, 2007 @ ispayk As far as I know the lower the higher the power level is, the better it is.. So to explain this further: -43 dbm > -60 dbm. The higher the value(the less negative), the better.
thugster_9904 Posted August 9, 2007 CID Share Posted August 9, 2007 @ ispayk You can't change your Power Level. It is based on your distance from the BaseStation. So it's fixed. Good day!!
