Sparticus Posted October 19, 2011 CID Share Posted October 19, 2011 Hi all, I haven't posted in a loooooong time! Anyways what kind of router are you currently using? If you can post a pic of your network setup. I am using a Linksys / Cisco e4200. I like it, the performance is great and range is good as well. mudmanc4 Posted October 19, 2011 CID Share Posted October 19, 2011 pfsense 2.0 running on MSI K7-n2delta AMD 3200+ 2 gigs ddr2 for the router. It all gets wild after that but main switching is handled by a Cisco 2900-XL-EN
dn0 Posted October 19, 2011 CID Share Posted October 19, 2011 Linksys/Cisco WRT120N -------------> to Linksys WRT54G configured as a wireless bridge using dd-wrt firmware to the XBOX 360 and old desktop PC in basement. I was not giving Microsoft $90 for the Xbox wi-fi option, took me a day to figure out the bridge, but it has worked perfectly for two years.
