yES IT IS POSSIBLE IF YOU TAKE A PHONE LINE CABLE AND BREAK IT THERE ARE ABOUT 8 CABLES IN IT 1 FOR POWER AND 2 FOR VOICE A FEW ARE FOR DSL AND ONE IS GROUND SO YEAH IT DOES NOT REALLY TRAVEL THROUGH THE SAME CABLE .
