First off spring loaded instead woud be my guess why it won't switch. I would imagine it wouldn't have enough continuous power to go auto that way. I would think it would have to be CO2. Just my opinion of course.

Not sure how close to the tower I am. Not to many large hills here. But they did say I was in a good location when they sold it to me. I actually get better speeds when it rains. It raises my signal, and actually puts me in a better range of numbers. Kinda weird. Like I said, a bit higher is better than what I have.

I agree it is unfair. But I guess thats showbiz. Probably do pretty much the same thing if we were in their shoes. Who knows.

Yeah, I'm getting -70 myself. Sometimes it gets down to -68. Not bad though.
