Correct cholla, I was not sure how to reinstall the OS, or how to update. Since I figured it would have been done through auto-updates. But a quick call to e-machines tech confirmed what you said. He had me go to control panel*classic view*left click system icon*Hardware tab*Device Manager*Sound, Video, and Game Controllers*Uninstall*Reboot. He asured me this would fix it. Thanks cholla. Apreciate it. One other thing I found out talking when talking to tech, was that by using reformat c.d.'s that the harddrive is wiped clean as every body mentions. But (Roco) using the built in system recovery, does not wipe it clean. I did not know that one. Again thanks. I guess tech support is not always bad. At least on comps. Thats weird all right, your kids should not know what you have done, unless an example is necesary, and then only if really needed. Till they are grown and gone. Then you can laugh about it. I don't get it, my sound just goes away when I am on this site only. If I am on the comp. too long. No errors or warnings. Just all of a sudden it quits working. But if I reboot, as soon as it starts to go off it will make a musical sound before shutting down, which is normal for the noise, but I don't hear the sound till just before it shuts down. Then on reboot it is ok. Could the sound card be getting hot or something? Emachines T6522 media XP 2GB ram.

I asked this question a few weeks ago, and did not get a responce. Any possible solutions?

Miles_Smiles I was not merely trying to say that the US could have won the wars single handedly or that it was not a team effort. I was merely stating that we came along when we were obviously needed. Wasn't bad British Intelegence a big part of the reason for starting into Iraq? Vietnam was a wash because the Chinese were so formidable in numbers. We never could win in Asia, China is always there. Yeah, we probably should stay out of there. Meaning that when our boy's came back form Vietnam they were named baby killers and much more, just because they supported and fought and died for their country. I would not wish this on them. It was very ugly. And that never needs to happen again. Have you ever been in the military Miles_Smiles? I have been friends of many military war vets, and they did not always get their just rewards. But they did do their duty. And this is never fair. They are proud to serve their country, to even die for what they believe in. Yes Patriotism. I just will not stand for such ill will for what I believe is right, at least over here. Maybe it is idealism, and maybe I have it in a strong way. But being an American has given me this right. It has been earned. I and my forefathers have tried to keep it that way. Presidents come and go. But the US still goes on. Hopefully for the world it will stay that way. Even if we do make mistakes. Who doesn't. We lick our wounds and go on. We try to do better next time. One thing at least, we try to finish what we started, usually. Our leaders are mere figure-heads. The president is merely just that. He holds an office position. Bush is the president, the president is not Bush, or any prior leaders. Kind of a twist on words, I know. Merely meaning that Bush is the acting president. And the president is the ruler of the US. We will always have a president, but it will not always be Bush or Clinton, etc... Something like that. Airforce 1 will always be the aircraft that the president is on.
