Welcome to the forum Supermario05. Do you mean your surfing is slow, if so using disk cleanup once in a while, while working helps. I do it when I feel it won't bother my stuff I am working on at the time. Just thought it might help.

Also do you have cable-nut or TCP Optimizer installed? Are your files defragged and are you using a registry cleaner? Also are you cleaning out your cookies and files when you are testing?

How long have you had your cable-nut installed, if less than 3 days then you need to let it settle in for full effects. I am not sure if much can be done about U/L speed as so much of it is controlled by your comp.

I just got off phone with Dway supervisor and(whew) he said that all that would be required, would be to close 6000 account and start new account with 4000. He said that that is also true for the 6000. New e-mail etc... In other words no downgrading, just upgrading an present account. Damn I hope he is right. Suppose I will have to wait till Monday to be for sure. I know that there is still 3000's in service. Short prayer.... And then hope they do not change their mind before September. Also you cannot commission anything on the weekend. Plus a $300 cancellation.

OK GoldenDrago, it is not all that hard to do, and if you do regularly, it does not take that long. It only takes a long time, because you wait so long to do it. Mine only takes me about 1 minute, because I do it regularly, about twice a week. If you do not remember how to do it: click start>all programs>accessories>system tools>disk defragmenter>defragment>and let it run. While it is running, walk away and go get something to drink restroom break, or something to eat or drink. When you get back it should be done. Then run disk cleanup. Did forgot to clean out files including offline content, before testing? All this should help some. Cool.

2 things: you have to read and try the post info. Van Buren gave you a cable-nut file to use. Second I gave you a recomendation try a larger file test. And third did you clean out your cookies and files before testing. And fourth you have to let the cable-nut set for a couple of days to fully let it set in. Don't be so impatient. It is only frustrating only if you let it be that way. OK so I cannot count. Also when was the last time you defragged your computer files.

Welcome to the forum noodlz. Don't hit back button when retesting just hit retest. Second make sure you clean out cookies and files. At the top of browser go to Tools>internet options>Delete cookies OK>Delete Files, Offline content also OK>OK> then test. Probably cached. Paste scores again. Also advertised speeds.

What are your advertised speeds? Post a speed test. Use the 2992 file test. Have you waited a couple of days on each cable-nut setting to let it set in, before changing settings again. It is not automatic always. Do you clean out cookies and files before you test(top of browser>tools>internet options>delete cookies>delete files>offline content also in file delete>OK>test.
