Welcome to the forum tonyslaughter. I run the Optimizer because it works best on my comp. But my suggestion for you in this forum would be to do a system restore and get cable-nut. Because you will get a lot of help form this forum on cable-nut. And don't forget to wait 2 to three days for full effects before changing optimizer or cable-nut settings. How long have you had Optimizer installed? Also post a speed test.

Have you tried an online scan? Have you tried D/L a free AV just to clean out comp. before D/Ling Norton, so as to be able to run in safe mode? Then install!

Norton let me down several times. When an AV lets virus's by pass it to where it will not work itself, and can not get updates. Well it sucks. I threw my last copy in the desk drawer to remind me why I won't ever give them anymore $$. No not once! By the way if you want my c.d. you can have it, it is good till Sept.
