This is crazy.. and I have no explanation for this, but I am sure that FireFox M2 (an optimized FireFox I use) has something to do with it. Everytime I download my logs in tar format I get a ridiculous transfer rate... for a while I thought it was just that the browser was reporting wrong... but when I noticed tonight when I grabbed a 2GB apache log in a mere 323 seconds I was a little freaked out... just to make sure I didn't fall asleep and my brain was playing tricks on me I tried again (my screenshot you can see that on in progress... only seconds later it was already at 400+MB) ~~ This is NOT something that is in cache... this is a unique apache log that I have NEVER downloaded, this is actually a file that is generated on the fly by my server. Now, to kinda shed some light on the situation a little, I tried the same file in IE... ran at about 600+ KB/s --- I looked at my transfer from my server and my server didn't send out that much information... also I didn't recieve that much information on the other end....... yet I STILL got a 2GB file sitting on my desktop.... again, this is NOT a file I have EVER downloaded before... and this happens only in M2 and actually happens often with stats and DB back-up... this is not the first time. I don't know how this happened, it has to do with compression... very insane. I wish the whole internet would do this So 2GB / 323 sec is about 6435 KB/sec or 52715 Kbps or about 53 Mbps ~~ beat that score guys ---

Don't worry.... direcway users go through a proxy... therfore it apears that you are sharing your IP with others... Please disreguard my previous post guys ~~ i audited a few other direcway users and found that many of them showed the same symptoms --- they are almost all "66.82.9.XX" IP block -- and due to the narrow range of IP's.. either direcway has like 100 users or they are using a few shared proxy servers... not uncommon with satellite connections (it basically makes the connection seem faster because direcway caches and compresses data in this proxy... (stupid fun fact :: TestMy.net just happens to use test files that can't be compressed further... therfore your ISP is forced to send EVERY byte... resultsing in higher test accuracy than the other guys.... your score will look lower than some other testing sites..... but at least my test isn't giving you false hope ) sorry about the confusion. kiri --- post YO DAMN PIC ---

ATI is the shit --- PERIOD ~ My 9800 Pro still isn't outdated ~~ play Half-Life 2 PERFECT on EXTRA HIGH everything -- 6X Anti-Aliasing and 1280X1024 resolution ~ I got my card like 2 years ago or some shit, the rest of my computer has been upgraded many times, but the video card still performs circles around anything. You should be able to pic a 9800 Pro up now for like 160 or some crap, for a 128MB. About 260 for a 256MB ...

You are correct SIR --- Hold DEL on boot, go into your bios (if you have award bios) -- you most likely will find the setting in 'Integrated Peripherals' and it will most likely say 'On Board Video' change from enabled to disabled (hit the + key) and [esc] from that screen exit with save and reboot. Screenshot below is of the award bios screen... the correct stuff isn't highlighted, but you get the idea ~~ you may want to edit the bios with the new video card OUT of the computer, after you edit, turn off the PC and pop in your new card... TA-DA it should work.... let us know
