lol I have come up against that many times , I remove the hard drive and using a cheap adapter , connect it to a desk top , and load it from disk , it works OK on Dells , but you will need the drivers for sound and vid adaptor , it also works on old Sony varios , but taking out the hard drive is a nightmare

Hi folks and Tdawnaz, I let you folks have your day of remembrance before replying , yes, I can share their grief, remember back in the 1940's Britain lost near on 1 million women and children, civilians during world war 2 ,and every class at school had kids who had lost their dads or moms, we never spoke about it , it was just part of our lives , we didn't say we had a great weekend playing football with our dads or going to the park with mom, we had no fresh tropical fruit or candy till I was 10 years old , all food was rationed , petrol was unobtainable , still nobody I knew had a car anyway , Britains recovery didn't happen to the mid 60's , our remembrance takes place on the 11 hour of the 11 month, every year , the last few years we have accepted German attendance , as I think that is a great thing, as we all suffered together , no mater who was right or wrong at the time , but we still remember the the support that America gave to the UK in our hour of need , and as a child the free candy and chewing gum that the local based USAF guys gave us , BTW , my local Church still maintains the cemetery for American airmen ,and holds an annual remembrance service , well I am a pagan but I go along out of respect for those young guys that gave their lives for freedon , Duh and we naively thought that was the war to end all; wars ,?

I think we are now more aware of false allegations , that can be made by "mischievous " children , to them it can be just a game and gives them some attention , but this has to be weighed up against being a unloving distant parent , I think ninjageek is wise in giving some thought to this , regarding his G/F. children as there are more likely to be hidden tensions in that relationship , all I can add to that is you know the children best , by holding back this will make you an outsider to the children , remember they have got to learn to trust you also , have you never been alone with them ? like in a public place (McDonald's , playground etc ,) what is your G/F view on the way you feel ?, most females are very protective towards their children, and she obviously trusts you , I think these are very sad times when you can't talk to a kid with a new bike in the park , or even remark on a young girls party dress even in front of her Mom, BTW,I have full UK Gov/Police clearance to be around young children , I used to work full time with special needs kids 8-18 years , and still help out at times , yes I am aware of the risks , but you just cant keep those kids stranded in life, anyway their smiles and laughter make it all worth while , IMHO

I didn't know that , but in most of Europe, young children drink a glass of wine with a meal from a very early age , and they have far less alcohol abuse than we do in England , The use or misuse of Alcohol is a complex subject , and not one that the UK government is interested in solving , it is a form of control over the working classes and the military , ( Rum rations ) also it has the bonus for the Government of being highly taxed in the UK,
