Thanks , , I am passing this on to you because it definitely worked for me, and we could all do with a little calm. By following the simple advice I read in an article, I have finally found inner peace. The article read: "The way to achieve inner peace is to finish off all the things you have started". So I looked round the house to see all the things I had started and hadn't finished, and before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a bottle of red wine, a bottle of white wine, the Baileys, three Bacardi Breezers, the Jack Daniels, the Prozac, some Valium, some cheesecake and a box of chocolates. You have no idea how bloody good I feel. Regards Roco UK

From: MY KIND OF DOCTOR I DON'T KNOW THE DOCTOR WHO WROTE THIS, BUT I LIKE HIM! HEALTH QUESTION & ANSWER SESSION Q: I've heard that cardiovascular exercise can prolong life; is this true? A: Your heart is only good for so many beats, and that's it... don't waste them on exercise. Everything wears out eventually. Speeding up your heartwill not make you live longer; that's like saying you can extend the life of your car by driving it faster. Want to live longer? Take a nap. Q: Should I cut down on meat and eat more fruits and vegetables? A: You must grasp logistical efficiencies. What does a cow eat? Hay and corn. And what are these? Vegetables. So a steak is nothing more than an efficient mechanism of delivering vegetables to your system. Need grain? Eat chicken.. Beef is also a good source of field grass (green leafy vegetable). And a pork chop can give you 100% of your recommended daily allowance of vegetable products. Q: Should I reduce my alcohol intake? A: No, not at all. Wine is made from fruit. Brandy is distilled wine, that means they take the water out of the fruity bit so you get even more of the goodness that way. Beer is also made out of grain. Bottoms up! Q: How can I calculate my body/fat ratio? A: Well, if you have a body and you have fat, your ratio is one to one. If you have two bodies, your ratio is two to one, etc. Q: What are some of the advantages of participating in a regular exercise program? A: Can't think of a single one, sorry. My philosophy is: No Pain...Good! Q: Aren't fried foods bad for you? A: YOU'RE NOT LISTENING!!!. Foods are fried these days in vegetable oil. In fact, they're permeated in it. How could getting more vegetables be bad for you? Q: Will sit-ups help prevent me from getting a little soft around the middle? A: Definitely not! When you exercise a muscle, it gets bigger. You should only be doing sit-ups if you want a bigger stomach. Q: Is chocolate bad for me? A: Are you crazy? HELLO ..... Cocoa beans! Another vegetable!!! It's the best feel-good food around! Q: Is swimming good for your figure? A: If swimming is good for your figure, explain whales to me. Q: Is getting in-shape important for my lifestyle? A: Hey! 'Round' is a shape Well, I hope this has cleared up any misconceptions you may have had about food and diets. And remember: "Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO, What a Ride!" Always take a chance in life, the end result may not always be what you hoped for but that?s fine. At least, you will never go through life wondering what if.... and only if... The Christmas Angel One particular Christmas season a long time ago, Santa was getting ready for his annual trip ... but there were problems everywhere. Four of his elves got sick, and the trainee elves did not produce the toys as fast as the regular ones so Santa was beginning to feel the pressure of being behind schedule. Then Mrs. Claus told Santa that her mother was coming to visit. This stressed Santa even more. When he went to harness the reindeer, he found that three of them were about to give birth and two had jumped the fence and were out, heaven knows where. More stress. Then when he began to load the sleigh one of the boards cracked and the toy bag fell to the ground and scattered the toys. So, frustrated, Santa went into the house for a cup of coffee and a shot of whiskey. When he went to the cupboard, he discovered that the elves had hidden the liquor and there was nothing to drink. In his frustration, he accidentally dropped the coffee pot and it broke into hundreds of little pieces all over the kitchen floor. He went to get the broom and found that mice had eaten the straw it was made from. Just then the doorbell rang and Santa cursed on his way to the door. He opened the door and there was a little angel with a great big Christmas tree. All radiant and smiling; the angel said, very cheerfully, "Merry Christmas Santa. Isn't it just a lovely day? I have a beautiful tree for you. Isn't it just a lovely tree? Where would you like me to stick it?" Thus began the tradition of the little angel on top of the Christmas tree.

I agree on the helping us poor folk ?, and on hating Norton , If I was Norton I would be too embarrassed to help anybody , especially geeks , not that they would use it anyway Tommie you feeling ok , you would be willing to pay for a AV program ? I would rather go back to using carrier pigeons for Air Mail

Hi intense , have a read of this http://www.motherboards.org/articles/guides/35_1.html most connectors only fit one place , but labeling them +pics is a good idea, the CPU/heat sink /paste , is the tricky bit for the first time , don't force anything , and take antistatic precautions , I am not actually sure on your bios bit , that should be set ok on the new board (maybe at default setting ) look out for jumpers on the board , it should come with documentation ,

Problem with adding 1GB of ram to computer
Roco replied to h2haxor's topic in Networking and Hardware
Have you tried the 1GB stick on it's own ? not a good idea to mix memory speed , sorry don't know much about the Compaq, so so more details might help ,( model , fsb, CPU , etc ) try the crucial memory advisor , enter the computer description and see what the motherboard supports , It could be a bad stick of memory , I had that before, I got the feeling the techie is right , compatibility , P.s. h2haxor you aint poor look at your bb speed now you wana see poor 750/250Kb now thats dirt poor -
Hi Storm 311, don't feel too bad about the car (nice ) a UK study on making cars, found that a new car makes more pollution and uses more resources X3 , than the old car will in it's lifetime , also maybe you got a car doing 20mpg so you trade for one that does 35 mpg , work out how many years it would take to recoup the cost of the new one ? and don't forget most small cars are being built in places that don't give F***k about the environment , if we all did the best we can as individuals , it will make a diferance , IMHO , but you have to balance things out , I got a neighbour who drives a 30 mile return trip to recycle 1 sack of cans ! , he is proud of doing his bit for the enviroment

Hi sorry for being a bit blunt on my last message ,( tired 1am UK ) your friend should have received a registration number , by email , whoever holds that number can use it , Just download the latest version 7.5 and enter the number where it says register, all you get for the money is faster updates and support, IMHO , but I still think it a great AV program, how much longer will it will be free ? yeah you can download it onto your puter , save as , and transferee it by usb pen ,
