Just wondering if it is good to use an anonymous proxy. If so, I know not to use just any because it could lead hackers right to your system. If they are safe please let me know of a good free one. Thanks all.

Hey all, I was just wondering...How would I delete my mozilla profile with all of my bookmarks and etc. If one of you know how to do it please tell me. I want to delete my current profile and create a new one. If I just uninstall mozilla and reinstall it...it remembers all of my info. Just in case one of you tells me to uninstall/reinstall.

First of all I wanna thankyou for your help. It's a great idea...I will try making a new profile and deleting my current profile. The yahoo garbage I put on my pc wasn't a firefox extension.

I just installed an update from yahoo I'm. Afterwards I continued my browsing in mozilla. I went to keyword a website which is one of the coolest features of mozilla. And every time I keyword anything...stupid yahoo search pops up and asks me to do an advanced search. I've uninstalled yahoo and mozilla. Reinstalled mozilla. Did spyware scans and all. Nothing left to do. I even went into the folder that contains search engines for mozilla and deleted yahoo search. Please someone tell me how to get this problem fixed once and for all! Thanks all.

I have the comcast 8000/768 package. I'm currently up to date with spybot, ad aware, and avast antivirus. I also use ccleaner for my pc. I still have speeds that bounce up and down all day everyday. I did a ping test to yahoo.com and it came out to be 82 ms. I have an average ping of about 52 ms when I pinged multiple sites. I am gonna post the traceroute from my pc to testmy.net. Yeah elite, I'm in Pittsburgh,PA and though they still don't admit the upgrade...two funny things happened to me. First, I was getting 4.5 megs down forever. Then I gave comcast a call since I'm on the 6/768 plan. Then I asked about the speed upgrade to 8 megs. The woman sounded like she was not truthful. She says there was no speed upgrade available. Five minutes after I got off the phone I was getting speeds from 7.0-7.5. Couple of days ago I bought a new surround sound system and I placed all of my new equipment differently than my old stuff. I put my woofer further away from my modem and router than before. I think there used to be interference because check out my average scores now. :::.. First I must say thankyou CA3LE and PHP for the new addition of chatrooms. I'm just trying to be helpful when I say kill those damn bots! LOL.
