i'd say

okay so this is how i have my DIR 655 setup you might try manually entering in the other routers MAC address and have the router broadcast that one maybe the modem will like it better or have it use your computers mac address i recall having to do that when i first got the router
-
Sounds like a peering issue the new isp has the old one didn't
-
Modems need to learn a routers mac address have you tried resetting the modem after you plug in the new router? I use that same router
-
I've never seen that integrated into an antivirus but software that monitors your bandwidth does exist
-
He had quite a few tests logged under his ip address Which gives me a somewhat cool idea I wonder if it's possible to have test results a user took say earlier that day before he or she registered to be merged with their results after being registered you'd have to of course have a short time limit on it due to dynamic ip leases but it's a cool thought definitely one for a different forum

its not really normal for it to drop "that much" but a little difference can be expected what it seems like you have there is a peering issue its more of a problem your ISP has and not really you try giving it a little time and see if it just gets better and actually i'm seeing an issue aswell testing from just about anywhere right now DC Central West i know these seem high but i'm on a 60Mbit connection so its not even close to where it should be

-
lol exact same price but i believe it was only for a 640GB back in dec-jan so like $2100
-
i saw that quite a while ago i want one
-
Ouch that sounds like such an expensive oops
-
it does sound very strange! but hey computers don't always make sense right?
-
probably is DSL can travel only a mile or two from the station so that sounds like that's probably where it is
-
nice speeds!
-
it means that 20Mbit is your cap and there is some underlying issue as to why your not getting it here when you download off usenet your downloading from hundreds of different people sometimes i have trouble pulling 50Mbit off of a single connection but when i initiate multiple connections to the same host i achieve my max its really weird and i'm not really sure why it does that try using a different browser to test with all we can do is keep trying different things to diagnose why your computer is doing what it's doing

Bandwidth monitor for the wifi hotspots (verizon & tmobile)
TriRan replied to anox195's topic in General Discussion
wow that bill is insane.. i'm not really sure what i'd use to monitor the bandwidth like your wanting i'm kinda shocked t mobile doesn't have something in place for businesses -
you might try testing from a different location could just be a simple routing issue like the one i'm having to all cali servers atm example: to dallas and east coast perfectly fine but to west coast its bad once you test from different servers let me know the results and we'll go from there
