  3. just get yourself one of corsairs self contained liquid coolers way better performance per cost ratio and you don't have to spend an arm and a leg then you just mount a small radiator somewhere on the case
  4. i have never heard of anything like that before, i would imagine that its their responsibility to make sure the lines are ran properly that includes grounding... it seems very odd that they would not ground it
  5. thats exactly how i have my cable setup... home phones are really out dated and not really needed anymore unless you have some sort of a home business or need to fax a lot of things

  7. Automatic routing is using a cdn to send the data meaning you could be routed to any one of cloud flares 23 data centers depending on which is closest to you as for the Dallas server not working C@BLE will probably have to answer that one cause I'm not entirely sure what changes he's made lately I just know they were extensive with the cdn addition

    Hello all !

Each browser has its own settings that if adjusted properly can give you improvements in speed
  14. If 30Mbps is the boost your supposed to be getting then no you wouldn't see that on the test because the tests are setup to run a bit longer then that lasts to get a stable real world reading of your connection if you want to test and see it you can specifically choose a very small download size say 6-12MB and you might see it then
  15. Actually the majority doesn't use ad blockers you will find a good percentage of people who don't even know what adblockplus is and for the server its not one giant server but clusters of servers I'd imagine Google runs thousands of servers a crossed the globe to serve all of its content
  16. I've had the same issue every now and again Sean but it usually is a dns issue to test that theory the next time it happens try opening up command prompt and pinging 4.2.2.2 if it receives a response then it's just a dns issue if it times out then it is something else entirely

  18. agreed, linux can not be beat for stability thats why most major sites out there are run on it same here i run linux and windows because games on linux just don't work to well i always manage my driver updates myself its not really rocket science, if it aint broke don't fix it

  21. RTB the memory thing really depends on what socket he buys, with 2011 socket he'll want to run quad channel memory so he'll need 4 sticks at least with the 1155 i believe its only dual channel? so 2 should work fine
