  1. I think it's an Xbox exclusive. It is better than GT4.
  2. Welcome to the boards milankalus. Enjoy your stay and spread the word about this wonderful site. Well, Ca3le takes pride in being the most accurate on the net. The speed test here at TestMy.net is fully optimized to take full advantage of your connection. IMO, TestMy.net is the better of the two...hands down.
  3. Just a heads up for us all. Most of you will have read this news already, but for those of you that haven't, it's good information. Bittorrent users must be careful. I'm not sure if there is a way to prevent this or not yet, but it's just food for thought.
  4. Easily, one of the most inhumane acts that I've ever witnessed. Terrible...
  5. Sure, if you trade me FIOS or COX Virginia soeeds.
  6. I voted faster. 6000/768 Comcast Gold Tier.
  7. Transfer rate is the speed at which you send/receive through your internet connection. A good rate up/down would be 90% of your cap/limit. The lower your ping, the lower your connection's latency is.
  8. Ohhh ok. That kind of server. Nice.
  9. Or you could get one from here if the specs suit you. 100WebSpace.com
  10. Verizon does block port 80.
  11. Nope. Port 80 is not blocked on Comcast. Why does Adelphia block port 80?
  12. You know what Hctim, you are acting very immature. You don't know how to take in what you read correctly. I've viewed the majority of the posts that you've made on this site, and you've either been disrespectful or unhelpful. You're getting off to a bad start pretty quickly, and will be noticed in a bad way soon. I would appreciate it if you would stop spamming this thread. Nobody wants to argue with you dude. If you feel safe, think that are safe, or know that you are, good for you man. I'd just rather get my thread back on topic. I'm done with it. 1
  13. Viewing all your connections has nothing to do with a virus infecting your system. Without some type of anti-virus software, you are vulnerable to attacks hands down. Where do you get your critical analysis of fundamental assumptions or beliefs? Trust me dude, I pull my weight around here. I don't just post to argue over the internet. I try to enlighten people with every post and share information with others users. It's obvious that you are the type that thinks you know everything, so more power to you.
  14. That would actually test his CMOS battery to see if it's the cause of him receiving that message. The CMOS battery plays one of the biggest roles of your system even starting up. Without it, your system's bios would not hold any settings, thus, causing you to get several messages that you would not get otherwise. What's more is that he will also be clearing his that way also. You will need to enter the bios and set everything back up when your done pr0duc3r. That's just one option for you to try. By the way, that's not how you flash your bios.
  15. If you read the very first post, you will see that I listed the software in order of performance as the tests results ranked them. There are plenty of viruses out that can affect you pc to the point of not functioning properly. A free spyware program will on leave you half secure when it comes to viruses. It would lose to a good anti-virus program any day. If you are happy with being unprotected, that's cool. I think you are infected right now, but just doesn't know it. Should run a scan, and not the weak online ones either.
  16. Very nice. You seem to be right on. Might be able to squeeze a little bit more out of the line. Either way, you are blazing! It would be nice to just to see a Verizon truck around here. Nothing but Comcast & SBC.
  17. What's up Runna? Welcome to TestMy.net. Spread the word about this fantastic site. That is a very nice download. What is your upload speed like? Where part of the country are you from? Just wondering how close you are to Michigan. I'm hoping that Verizon comes my way.
  18. Although that's true, I still would question my AV if it wasn't, at least, within the top 6. Even the 6th product on the list only detected 91.57% of viruses thrown at it. That's pretty low considering that users running it have an 8.43% chance of their software missing it. I would definitely have to be using a product that has a detection result of 90% or better. I'd junk anything below that.
  19. Yeah, you know that hackers are always trying to come up with something. The latest MAC OS X 10.4 Tiger has been getting great reviews, and with that being known, some coder will target it just to see if he can disrupt it's shine.
  20. If I'm not mistaken, both of the previous usernames are not active anymore. This person would have to rejoin under another name, and from that point on, never violate the rules again. We would probably never know that this new person that joined is his/her that was banned, but under a different name, This time though, they would be very likable indeed, and the chances of them turning into a problem starter is slim to none.
  21. Done. Now Timu & lorne can choose. Didn't think of that.
  22. Chalk it up as a loss. When you make your bed, you have to lie in it sooner or later. Comradeship is too strong around these parts, and we take pride in airing out the enemy whenever it is deemed necessary. All of this could have been handled in a gentlemen like fashion, but you choose to get into some gangsta shhhhh with the pm's. In turn, you were dealt with accordingly. Well moderated
  23. I have a pretty good feeling that it will be a keeper for you.
  24. Hey .s1 & wingzero2309, I had that problem last year sometime. It turns out that the the reason was a mixture of different programs I had on my system. There is a workaround. If you go to the settings tab, enter the "Configure Real-Time Protection" options. After that window opens up, click on the blue link titled "Troubleshooting" at the bottom right hand corner of that window. Within those options, you will be able to customize network attacks. There should be a single box that disables that protection. After a reboot, you should have you connection back. Turning off the network attacks protection ticked me off though. So, the next time I did a fresh install, Kaspersky Personal worked flawlessly with my connection and did not kill it. That's how I knew it was something within Windows that I had played around with. I had service pack 2 at that time also. I tried to send you an email .s1, but it didn't go through.
