Yeah... it is a mobile router that support EV-DO along with standard ethernet.. It is powered by dlink with an EV-DO slot included.. Dlink had a router (DI-725) but i am not sure if it ever came out.. This new router is a join effort with Kyocera working on the wireless EV-DO side and Dlink with the WI-FI and network side. http://www.kyocera-wireless.com/kr1-router/index.htm Only problem.. internet from the cell providors suck the big one right now.. the cool part.. you can now have a wireless lan anywhere! also if you are using a pair of amplified speakers.. which is just about any type of speakers out there you shouldnt run your sound card at 100%.. this will distort the sound and could cause the hissing that you are hearing. Try running the sound card at about 75%. The other thing that you might want to try is updating the drivers for your sound card.

yeah i can only image the power requirements... I am will to bet that at some point they will water cool these things.. there is just no way that they can be that close and run at full tilt.

That is WAY to many.. you might want to restart in safe mode and run a few spyware scanner, virus scanners, and maybe defrag your hard drive.. I have 30 on boot up..

I dont know why you would want to run thin ethernet... It is incredably inefficient!
