Is this a move to dd-wrt? I think you will be supprised at how much more stable this firmware is and how much better the speeds are!

That is the one that i have.. it came out the 22nd i believe.. the second build, from what i have read, is a hell of a lot more stable. Make you wonder if MS really doesnt mind all of the Beta being spread all over the place. I mean there is huge hype in the IT/power user world every time a new build is issued.

I dont know about burn in.. but you might get some pretty good ghosting when you are using high frame rates. I expect one for my birthday CA3LE

Yeah MSDN subscriber.. that is the only real way to get the disk.. otherwise there are iso s on the net that you can get.

yeah.. most of the older 10base T and early 10/100s do.. depending on what brand and how old it is you should be able to use a standard ethernet cable because of autosensing.. edit: spelling

I think the os itself needs 3.5 gig? I had beta 1 running at home and couldnt install it on a 3 gig hard drive.. I have yet to install the latest 5308 build.. that might be stable enough to use.

If it is going to run windows mobile.. then i should be able to do wifi and have a bunch of other features that the iPod doesnt have.. we will see. Looks more like a tablet pc to me.

yeah.. drivers are still a bit lacking.. although there are videoI drivers out there for vista so you can run areo glass. It is still a long way from begin finished.. I would wait for a future release or to RC1 before you decide to dual boot. Otherwise install it on an old drive and play.

Some of the manufactures have found a work around.. Tom's hardware had a story on an acer that didnt show signs of the problem. I am sure that in the next few updates they will include a fix. I mean as soon as the duos start to take.
