Thanks for the reply but when I got home (I was looking at my old test scores from work) Its testing even higher than the first. Its beating the hell outta some niced NVIDIA cards and the ATI X600 which had 256 mb dedicated memory.

So you can look at the stats, not half bad. So my problem is that I ran some benchmarks at pcpitstop and my graphics card rated about 188 which is on the top of the list for similar setups. Ok, so monday I install a new stick of RAM its ddr2 4200 1 gig stick and it braught total ram up to 1.3 gigs plus 64 meg on the video card. So I rerun my tests and my graphics card goes to 80 bottom of the list. WHY? Any ideas? I installed it right, its showing up properly and runs much faster. The video card seems a ok and my wife plays the sims 2 with all capabilities maxed and it doesnt even stutter and it pushes doom 3 like a pro. So what the heck. 100 TestMy.net points to whoever fixes it.

I thought this post was a joke from the title... Im sorry to see it wasnt.

I just baught a new laptop yesterday with 512 of ddr2 and went straight to newegg.com, got a 1 gig stick for 99 bucks and installed today. That makes 1.3 gig of ddr2 ram 4200... WOOOO freaking HOOO this baby flies. It also has a 17 inch widescreen and x700 ati card, great for a laptop.

Well that sounds good and all but how do i set it up. Im familiar with ftp but never set one up. If possible id like the two pc's to communicate directly so i dont have my internet connection upload speed slowing me down. Any advice?

Ok I have two laptops with wireless g cards and want to transfer a large file from one to the other. What is the quickest easiest way to do so. I know I could use hard media like cd-r but dont wanna cause im lazy. Any help would be appreciated.

Well my thinking on it is that we have the best site and if we can get linked to them we could prove it. Anyway if thats how it is cool, I just thought maybe we could get a couple to link exchange with us and Im sure 90% of the users that tried both sites would choose us.

All this site ranking talk lately made me think. Right now there are almost 500 users online. Not to long after I became a mod we were all recalling what the max number of users we had seen on at one time and at that time it hung around 250. Nice progress and Im glad to be apart of it. Oh CA3LE I was looking at alexa ranking page for us and noticed a "people who visited testmy.net also visited" So Im thinking ( an maybe your way ahead of me here) those sites would be good to try a link exchange with. Just a thought.

I personally have much more fin playing Socom 2 online than any pc game online. Just my opinion though.
