hehehe tinipid nga, sakin yung height is 35 to 40 ft from the ground. dapat mayroon line of sight at hindi obstructed.
-
ahhh so height increase lang bali. hehehe kulang lang pala ng " line of sight" hehe tanga yung installer mo.
-
nilagyan mo na ng stinger? hehe di ko namalayan
-
pare swapang mo.hehehe... masama din yung mataas masyado na RSSI / power cause it will destroy some components ng antenna mo, "ma overload".
-
hehehe ryt. ano yung RSSI ng ginagamit mong colorcode ngayon?
-
Hmmm it should work, i guess your last option is to report that to the TSR. Wala na tayo magagawa if the base station ang problema. for as long as okay na yung canopy mo and your pc. We cannot tweak the base station.hehehe...
-
ur welcome rheb, just lcheck first the RSSI level of your Canopy and jitter value. RSSI level must be higher than 500 or exactly to have a good link to the base station and also jitter must be below 5.
-
I suspect it has something to do with the DNS server. I ping Smartbro DNS and usually I got many request timed out.
-
read my blog http://tweakmynet.blogspot.com, I have written there how to configure a different DNS server,it might help your problem.
-
Even the TCP optimizer cannot solve request timed out issues. Establishing a reliable link ( all the important parameters for the antenna must reached the minimum / required value) can solve such issues. According to Shannon's Law C = W log2(1 + S /N ) where C is the channel capacity (bits / second) S/N is the Signal to Noise ratio - the ratio between the Power of the Signal and the Noise Power in a Transmission channel. W - is the channel bandwidth ( Hz) We will apply the Shannon's Law equation for the Smartbro Internet connection: If RSSI or the Power of Signal Received is very low and the jitter value (which is a noise) is very high, the Signal to Noise Ratio is very small. Therefore the Channel Capacity becomes smaller.
-
The remedy is you must establish first your link to atleast anRSSI value of 500. The reason for intermittent connection ( frequent disconnection) is that the jitter goes up high (jitter can be thought as noise) the transmission becomes unreliable. If you will conduct a ping test, say: ping 10.0.0.1 -t (pinging the antenna) in a command prompt, you will find that there are many request timed out.

I'm sure you can buy one at the electronic supply. or order online if u like.hehe...I made my default plug long time ago and I forgot already the details
-
No side effects on the antenna as long as you created your own default plug correctly. (CAUTION: make sure correct tapping of jumpers)
-
I did try to reset the canopy using RJ 11 and it really works. It overrides the previous settings and allows you to correct the setting that caused it to lock.
-
The Question is: Did the installer locked the canopy platform? or rheb did accidentally changed the IP settings on the canopy. Which ever of the 2 scenarios he can still gain access by using default plug. I my self my locked up my canopy cause I accidentally changed the IP setting ( specifically the DHCP setting). hehe
-
hehehe sim = subscriber's identification module where SM = subscriber Module halos pareho lang ang meaning
-
I would like to correct my self for clerical error : SM not sim.
-
@rheb actually nakalock yung sim mo. if u want to access your canopy platform (which is prohibited by smartbro) you need to have the MAC address of your antenna. Saan mo yun makita? you have to access the antenna physically. nakadikit doon sa sticker yung MAC address. then get the last 3 numbers. example yung mac address the antenna mo is 00:0a:3e:08:fe , then get the last 3 hex numbers 00:0a:00:3e:08:fe <=== only the bold hex number, convert each hex numbers into decimal: ex. 3e ==> 62 08 ==> 8 fe ==> 254 reverse the sequence, then 10.254.8.62 <== ito ang ip address the canopy mo. to access canopy platform, simply replace 62 by 1, used the following ip address: 10.254.8.1 submask: 255.0.0.0 then type http://10.254.8.62 to access the canopy platform.

@grift3r Download speed is normally higher than upload speed since most of the us subscribers or in general internet users are more on collecting informations from internet (downloading files) rather than sending files. That's is called Asymmetric DSL. If both Uploading and downloading speed are equal we refer to Symmetric DSL, which are quite expensive than ADSL.
-
hello guys, my speed never dropped to 384 kbps.hehehe...
-
Hmmm if you can afford you can use the dream sattelite dish as your reflector
-
hmmmm please post your RSSI result as soon as you have the Stinger on your antenna. :::.. hello peepz just got home galing nagsimba wow i'm glad that finally okay na yung connection mo :haha:
-
I see, the best thing you can do it to consult your provider regarding your low download speed. Have you scan your pc with anti-virus? maybe you pc is infected (virus / worms / malware / spyware)
