  1. HELLO GUYS, SMARTBRO SUCKS!! ANG BAGAL NG CONNECTION KO NGAYON, MAKA ILANG EMAIL KO NA NASEND SA KANILA NGAYONG ARAW. GRRRRRRR!!! :tickedoff:
  2. Latency or ( time it takes for the data to transfer) and fluctuating bandwidth are base station technical problems. You have to report it thru an email to the CSR, indicate your ping test as well as the result of speed test.
  3. @ripclawph Your welcome, that's the biggest problem with smartbro, they don't act immediately on complaints reported over the telephone. Actually I received an email from tech support just this morning, informing me that they are now troubleshooting the root of the problem. Ganon lang yan pre, you have to document everything para wala silang lusot. Mas effective pag written kaysa verbal complaints lang. speedtest ko ngayon, :::.. 6. @kaiten01 Again it's a base-station problem. Report that to the TSR thru emails, with your speedtest results, i'm sure they will do somethings to resolve that.

  12. Actually I just set the TCP optimizer at Optimal Settings. That's it! Well I have downloaded gigabytes of mp3s as well as movies.hehe
  13. @djay i have my previous post about the canopy starting on page 9 just look at there. requirements for canopy parameters : RSSI = 500 or up , jitter 4 or below.
  14. @djay hehehe my speed never drop down to 384 kbps.hehe... if that happened i flood emails to the smartbro TSR.hehe...i guess to reach this speed you should keep your PC spyware and virus free and proper configuration on your XP and the canopy. my current speed with my other 2 PCs running: :::.. 15. but i preferably use tcp optimizer, it just work for me
  16. you can actually use both optimizers, cablenut and sg tcp optimizer. instruction for sg tcp optimizer: on the general settings, the network adapter selection = select your LAN card and then click optimal settings. the tcp optimizer will just enhance other settings which cablenut have not changed. no side-effects. i have tried cablenut and tcp optimizer at the same time now. my current speedtest: :::.. 17. @djay this just a suggestion: if you like you can try also TCP optimizer and see the difference ofcourse one a time only, (disable cablenut while using tcp optimizer) i'm a TCP optimizer user, here's my current speed test: :::.. testmy.net test results ..::: Download Connection is:: 543 Kbps about 0.54 Mbps (tested with 579 kB) Download Speed is:: 66 kB/s Upload Connection is:: 497 Kbps about 0.5 Mbps (tested with 1013 kB) Upload Speed is:: 61 kB/s Tested From:: https://testmy.net (Server 1) Test Time:: 2007/06/27 - 8:52pm D-Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-9UIQK40E7 U-Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-1EWPCZVNM User Agent:: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20070515 Firefox/2.0.0.4 [!]

  19. Hello @dmag07, I am also a smartbro subscriber. swimmer is right. if you are redirected to smartbro portal, just have the authentication and then you can browse afterwards.
  20. @gourame i'm a TCP optimizer fan.hehehe...
  21. are you sure the speed unit in Kbps or in Kbps? <=== correction kB/s
