i was just kidding you guys. anyway, while snip07 is editing his post, maybe you who quoted his post would like to do the same? as his canopy ip is shown in your posts too. -
that was funny in a different way, but i understand. didn't have the heart to comment on it though. i like the we "tweak you" part. anyhow, here's my speed after letting my system run overnight, downloading a total of 4 Gigs of torrents, without cleaning up and defragmenting. :::.. hey i just thought of this. if it is true that we don't have our own ip, then it will be very hard to track our actions in the web. for example, if we do some wiki vandalism like that person from fox network, we won't get caught the same way he was. (his ip was traced back to fox). -
the amazing wireless broadband is smart bro. amazingly slow broadband that is!! :2funny:

that 192.168.224.1 i our default gateway address. looks like we all have the same. i'm guessing the second one is your canopy ip? @tamie77 - he just showed us what came out of the command prompt using your method. -
oh ok. it does have a very near resemblance. specially on the f1 - f12 buttons, the border of the keyboard and the touch pad.
-
yeah. that is, if we ever get rich. :2funny: better start saving up your allowance now. we'll give smart bro a run for their money.

you do know that the other method is easier right? no need to use the command prompt and all. -
basically, yes, it teaches us how to make a sort of isp of our own. and yes, i think we can make one, if we have the fundings for it.

hmm. i haven't tried your method though, since the conventional method works for me. might try it later just for the fun it. -
that will be a very short list. :2funny:
-
good for you. looks like canopy tweaks are what you're connection just needed. btw, i just noticed that the laptop at your pic looks a lot like mine.
-
hmm, that's high already. and no, 400+ standard is hard enough to achieve, we are NOT going to make a 500+!! :2funny:

@tamie77 looks like snip07 has finally accessed his canopy using your method. again, good find and thanks for your contributions. -
could it be the work of viruses or spyware? have you tried scanning your system for anomalies?
-
hmm, i can't see the picture. it says access denied.

SmartBro Antenna:Canopy or SendFar?
fr0stbound replied to coolbuster2007's topic in Smart Bro (Wi-fi)
hmm, in that case, the ip of the ap is all i need, since i'm already using close values, 1.2 for my ip and the ip of the canopy is 1.1 -
SmartBro Antenna:Canopy or SendFar?
fr0stbound replied to coolbuster2007's topic in Smart Bro (Wi-fi)
well, i don't know about that, but, look at this. i we try to download from file sharing sites like megaupload, it would say that our ip is already downloading something, even though we are not. also note that we use the same ip for the canopy to access it. first we change our ip to either 169.254.3.3 or 169.254.1.2(this would automatically disconnect our connection, since it has to be set to automatic). then on our browser we enter 169.254.1.1 so that means, basically we have the same settings, and same ip addresses.
