I think it is the wireless b slowing you down. I used to use it when I had my laptop and got like half my speed with it. I would suggest upgrading to g or going wired g will be better but still not as good as wired.

I have had same problem also before. And I think it is some kind of trojan or something. And alot of anti virus programs don't pick them up. I had one before and scanned with like 5 anti virus programs before it found it lol. But anyway I would reccomend running that program they said and see what it running thanks.

Or when you go into your sound options do you see. Like says if you have 5.1 all your speakers like in mine it says front rear etc. But I had to make it say that. By going into advanced and changinh it. I have no idea like I said need more info thanks.

I heard when I was learning some hacking that aol is safer then any other provider. It said if you have aol then forgot hacking lol. And that aol users are more secure from hacking almost impossible to hack. I am not sure if it is bs or what?

Yep just setup a network or file and print sharing then just basically drag and drop.

Can you please provide more info? What kind of speakers are you using? Are they 5.1? If so I might know why. Other then that make sure it is all hooked up right and did you blow your speakers lol? I have some nice 5.1 speakers now 500-1000watts lol. But anyway please provide more info so I can help.

My pc rocks I think. I run it has a shoutcast server sometimes a game server and almost always a web server. And all this is running during this test. I attached my results. And I probably could have scored higher on hard drive but on of them is alomst completey full that is my extenal drice. I have this system 2.8GHz cpu with 40gig internal and 200gig internal and 80 gig external pretty much full. And My video card tock geforce 6800. And the rest 500 watts 5.1 speakers yea. Ok one question I don't see why no one else said this but, Why not just use one wireless router with like a 8-10 port switch on it? I use a router with a built in wireless and switch but it is only 4 ports but I am sure you can probably find one with more.

Well that is not really a fast server. You all are acting like it is. If cable had that kind of speed on his servers this site would suck. Why because a good server speed is 100mbs not 16mbs. Cable left one host because he couldn't get over like 20mbs. But if all you are paying for is 10mbs then that is good.

Yea batch files from what I know are pretty easy. All you have to know I think is basic programming. I am not sure but I have made a few myself. And I was just playing around. I never really did it for anything else.

Hey I fell you man. I had about those same speeds before. With my sbc dsl. And I found out that I was to far away from there station. And that I shouldn't have been because they have remote stations and they told me the moved me over to a remote station like 3 times before. But seems they never did. And when they check there computer and something else it gave them different results on saying I was close enough and on saying I wasn't. So finally they said we can move you to the remote station and I said what you said you did. And then they said no you are still on the old station. I said ok move it and then they said my dsl had to be down for 10 days or so I said ok. So a few days later I called back and said what is going on I still have my dsl and it was supposed to be off. And then they check the order the other person made and it wasn't right. It didn't say I need to be moved or rewired to the new station and finally I got a good person and he got me moved over. SO call and ask them how far away you are from there station and see if they have a remote station closer and get moved over.

Hey php who are you to say this thread is over? I don't care if you are mod. I should be one been around alot longer than you. I don't want to start a boxing match though lol. But if this user still needs help what is wrong with helping him? I haven't seen him reply yet so how do we all know that he got it working. If he has why don't you tell use that? Instead of trying to say it is closed when the thread is still open. I am not sure if he got this solved yet so I am other users are just trying to help him out. I have the same problem as you or did. So let me help you all. SBC dsl witch I have does give you a new IP not everytime you get log off or that. But everytime you disconnect and recconect to there service or network. Meaning if you never disconnect you maybe able to keep the same ip for a long time I have done this. But I think they change your ip sometimes not sure when But I think I have kept one for a long time. But anyway no php I wouldn't use noip since like he said he want's this for a domain not a subdomain witch is what no ip is. What I would do is go to http://zoneedit.com and sign up for there service you set the domain to there nameservers then you just get a program like noip uses and it updates your ip address for you. And keeps the domain pointed to the right ip. I have done this a few times. So I know it works. But zoneedit server kind of suck because it seems like there dns go down alot. But that is what I do.

Well I could recommend a site. But it is my site and I am affriad of getting banned again. But you did ask for site's. So you can use up that fat line lol. And it is made for broadband because most of the videos would take forever to load on dial up.

That sucks. I must have been in the wrong area of there site before. Because I out in my area code and now it is saying top speeds for my area are 5mbs down . Thats sucks. But I do see they offer up to 15mbs in other areas time to move lol. But I found on the cox site that it says were they are comparing dsl dial and cable it says top cable speeds are 9mbs. So how can they offer 15mbs in some areas. Maybe that is just in my area not sure. But it sucks.

I live in oklahoma city oklahoma and here Cox offers 15mbs down and 2 mbs up. I am think of getting it maybe. That what I was talking about isn't that about the same speed as fios. And after seeing you guys posts I see it is. So I may get it. But for now I am on Sbc dsl.

That is kind of funny DJVangelis my mom side of the family came from Toronto. Sometimes I say I am canadian and I guess I am not. See I was born here in boring oklahoma but my mom was born in cananda and I think her dad and I know her sis was born there also. And we still have family up there. And I think we also own a castle up there lol. My moms says something about it sometimes I don't think we really own it or our family but it is called the colons or how ever you spell it castle and that is supposed to be my moms last name. Or was. I am not sure but I don't think anyone from our family owns it but I could be wrong. Me myself have been in USA my whole live never been back to Canada yet. My grandpa goes up there alot but not me.
