You have to take the advertised speed, and devide it by 8.2 to get the RMS (continuous) capped speeds. 3000 % 8.2 = 365 kbs. which is dead on what my speed is constant. so no, you couldnt realy get 3mb/s download unless your advertised was a 25 mbit connection. (24600)

same here. With my 3000/386 connection via linksys router, i get from 3.0 -> 3.4 but if i plug it directly into the cable modem i cant exceed 2.8 here is my valuse tho
