You have to put a "doesnt ,matter either way " option for dialup and others lol because for me tweaking doesnt bring a real difference to the table. Speeds - Depending ; approx : 386 download / 42 up - without tweaks 400 download / 42 up - with tweaks

Microsoft Terminal Services Client problems

Yea, which is exactly why youd need a repeater. When i use DC++ ( p2p client) and i connect to hubs with 5 or 6000 users, unless im chatting in the main chat (which is sending and recieving data to that hub ) my connection will instantly drop. I have no idea wether its along the same lines as this problem, or if my router / modem just cant handle that many simultanous connections or what , but i have a feeling using something to keep your connection alive may work in your case. If not then -

Microsoft Terminal Services Client problems

I dont need to try. Anyway, sounds like unless the connection has somethign to do, it drops . basicaly like getting bored. you should try using a 3rd party program to keep the connection active, and connected at all times. For example. http://www.bysoft.com/stayalive.asp [edit] The point in doing this is it will act as a repeater, keeping a constant flow of traffic to the home, thus not losing connection. -
My next cooling upgrade is better. http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/product.do?BV_UseBVCookie=Yes&vertical=APPL&pid=04601129000&subcat=Freezerless+Refrigerators

cable speeds usualy dont drop too dramaticaly. no matter how many people are using it in your area... lol Like last night, the city's net went down for "maintinance" and i was one of the first reconnected..(according to the status ) . Took the speed test, got dl speed of 409 kb/s. After about an hour, when everyone was reconnected to the net, it was 399 lol. Drop there isnt that great :s http://www.high-speed-internet-access-guide.com/dsl-vs-cable.html
