I think its just your distance,... beccause when im trying to download a file from a server anywhere else in the friggin world the speed is decent. but i can honestly say that i have NEVER had ANY aus. server give me more then 13 kb/s Im sure there are a few out there..but,. iv yet to find it

yea alot of isp's give you a gb limit up and down, and if you exceed it they can shut you off immediately or just slam you with charges

yahoo is usualy the base of the base dsl. 1/128 mabey 1.5 /256 . My friend has it get about 150 download constant, 15 up. Its the ' poor mans' dsl lol. But still beats this 33.3 k dislup >=(

Because win98 has an abundence of memory leaks everywhere, as well as broadband speed problem.. My friend and i were on 98 on our older machines a few days ago. hooked our cable to the speed test via windows 98 it said our connection max was 1400 , then plugged it back up to xp machines ( same lan card, same cable) and got over 3mb/s :s You should upgrade, justin
