i have 2 200gb drives on my home comuter, 40gb in my laptop, and a unlimited amout of storage at work.

tim those pings are actually a little high they should be around 40-50ms what modem did they give you? also do you know if your data path is on interleaved or fast?

were are the duplicate files at. are they just in 1 folder ie. windows or program files, or are they all over?

it doesnt matter wether you use a onboard or pci eathenet card they still use the CPU to process the information so that will make no difference. Merch go into your modems control panel and get all the line stats and post it.

been there, don't buy a router off ebay unless its new. You could also go to bestbuy and get a good one for like 40 bucks

dHino17 welcome to the forum if your advertised speed is 256--512kbps then your good, your not going to get any faster.

jay_Shanghai we are really not going to be able to tell if your speeds are good or not with out knowing your advertised speed.
