pimpin818p4l welcome to the forum.
not bad it could use some tweaking to get that download speed up alittle bit. have you tried using cable nut? if not you can download it from here http://www.testmy.net/forum/t-11975 and use the attached cable nut file.
well thats because its going too fast and the test files are too small. try this test http://www.testmy.net/tools/test/d_load.php?&st=st&tt=1&ta=1&top=000&out_src=20MB it should be a little more accurate because the file is bigger.
well if it was there last night and not there this morning then they are doing changes to there database, and it may be in your area just they are sill setting it up. I would give it a few days then try again.
its only a estimate and its probally off by about a 1000 feet or so, but if you are on a RT then you are probally with in the 5000ft range to get the full 6mbps.
its not that you dont own the rights, the FCC says that when you broadcast music wether its over the air waves, or streaming on the internet you have to have a license unless its only for personal use. and the fines for not have a license are petty heavy.
i would get rid of it and go stright to AVG, norton is really bad. and it slows down your computer quite a bit. but no it wont make your ping any better thats all your ISP.
it all depends on distance, basically they guarantee that you will get between 3-6mbps.
at 11700 feet you will get nowere near the 6mbps. for 6mbps you need to be about 5000ft fom the CO.
