:haha: good way to get away with it, i know when i got cougt on adelphia with 100's of uploading connections a second opening when i had a mail server running on the connection, [when i should have not done that] they shut me off for a few hrs till i called and complaned, and i did the same excate thing as what you said complain about a outage. :haha:

Once you uncap that modem comcast will know that you have uncaped your modem and the will reboot for you the first couple of times once you uncap it, then they will just shut you off for about 24hrs they if it happens again they will shut you off for 30day's and final you will get shut off for ever.

some one should report your ass to Comcast, and i hope someone does because they will cut your ass, and they will let other ISP's know not to accept you.

it hapens on all my computers. even when i connect to a open wifi network i get still have the same problem.

I get 16 because bellsouth's backbone really sucks, when i was on adelphia i had 8 hops to testmy.net.

of course they would, if i was really poor i would not want a $100 laptop, that would just make me look even more poor because i have to have this really cheap computer, i don't think the chairman of intel is a jerk.

I have found out that version fios is going to be avaiable in my area starting the first of the year. I want to get it, but ive been reading alot of information and people have been complaning of lots of latency. and i would like to know what the ping times are to a few random website's. and if you are happy with fios. thanks. GIXXERGUY6 you do know that on adelphia your not allowed to run a server of any kind. If you get cough they will shut off your connection. If they see alot of uploading connections opened they will suspend your account for 24hrs the first time and then 30day the next time. Just be carefull do not allow alot of people to download at once on that connection. because you will loose your internet.

you can also just call godaddy.com and tell them that you want your domain to point to what ever ip address you want

what u need to do is make your A record point to your servers IP address so it looks like this. Your domain TTL Class Record Type Ip address Yourdomain.com 86400 IN A xxx.xxx.xxx.xxxx
